I have an inexhaustible fascination with Eisman and 2007. I have seen him talk on the subject for countless hours. Thus, when I say this is his clearest and most concise telling of the story ….
One thing that immediately struck me was the kid interviewing Steve Eisman seemed to have little knowledge of the Housing Crisis. He was 11 years old when it happened and clearly no formal finance background. Eisman has gotten older looking and you have opposite him an adult in the financial entertainment space with nary a clue. This hits me hard in the birthday candles.
