This is why I said isn’t it best to view Russia as some super PAC. They share your same views and you have common enemies. They work for you and carry your message without, technically, coordinating with you. They, of course, do have wink wink communication with you, but nothing that rises to prison.

He ran well, Trump won, and now he’s got a buddy who won’t forget was pulling for him and helping. Trump loves strength and Putin is the biggest strong man in a world of lesser strong men, so that gives him influence. He’s a boss Trump admires like he admires successful CEO’s. This one also doesn’t have to answer to anyone and Trump loves the idea of that.
Seems like you can kind of see how this developed without needing to know every detail. I mean he was buying houses for $40 million and flipping them for $100 million to oligarchs at the bottom of the market. It seems clear he would do anything for a $ and they knew he was like them in that way. Hillary is also, but she’ll make you jump through hoops and steal like a politician steals with donations to foundations and shit. Trump steals like them, in an organized crime fashion, and they already knew him and simply prefer he win.
