Really only fire basketball occasionally on non football days. Funny story this guy on sports talk will throw out what he likes in college basketball. So one day last week he talked about 7 games he liked.
So for the hell of it bet 50.00 on each game, Fucker went 1 for 7 .So I thought to myself next time I hear him picking games he likes I will fade, Bet the other team
So Monday I am listening he picks 7 college games, If I remember right was only 7 college games that day. So I fire 50 dollar against every team he picked.

The Dayton one has been a disaster and will very likely lose (especially the 1H bet). They're down 18 with 3 min left in 1H. Sad!
Villanova got off to a bad start, but got ahead of Penn by 15 in the early 2H. However, now it's an 8-point game with 8:36 left. They need to cover 15.
On the opposite end (my +14.5 dog), Miami got way ahead of Cornell, but Cornell has come back to make it semi-close, also trailing by 8 with 6:02 left.
So those other two could go either way, though Cornell looks more likely to cover than Villanova.
Would be nice if I can hit both of those and the T-Wolves keep up the beatdown, to go 3-1.

I passed on Cornell so I only took one liberal Ivy League team. I knew these kids could spell - had no idea about basketball.
Didn't see Cornell losing if they scored 105, but here we are.
Hell of an effort though.
Villanova couldn't get ahead enough and only won't by 11, so I lost that pick, likely sending me to 1-2 in NCAAB.
Pacers somehow shot off much of their lead. Gonna be a sweat.
Extremely weird game involving the Wolves/Pacers.
First Minnesota took like a 20 point lead and it looked like a blowout. Keep in mind that most of the players I expected to sit did not, so this negated the reasoning for my pick (I expected maybe 1 or 2 would play, but not all but one).
Anyway, then in the 2nd and 3rd, Minnesota played like shit, and the 20 point lead evaporated into a 90-83 deficit in the late 3rd. Then the Wolves pulled into a tie to end the 3rd, and I had hope. However, they couldn't ever pull away. They got ahead 111-104, with 3 minutes left, but then shot it off very quickly, and it was tied 115-115 with 50s left. At this point I was rooting for OT.
Then Hield fouled Goebert, who made 2 FT. Now 117-115. Then Hield missed a layup with 11s left, and they had to foul again. Edwards made both. I wasn't sure how I was going to get to 6 points though, as it was 119-115 and Pacers had the ball. I was hoping they'd miss, foul, and miss again. Instead, with 8s left, Pacers made a boneheaded TO, and Goebert dunked it. 121-115, and the Pacers gave up, so I barely covered.
2-2 day overall, going 1-0 in NBA and 1-2 in NCAAB.

There is a handicapping rule in the NHL about fading a team on the first home game after a road trip. The home rink in Phoenix is a college rink. I’m not trying to sell you so much as sharing the lulz.
Devils are great. Islanders are not bums but Devils are so deep, so young and so talented their 21-4-1 record is no accident. Some teams might coast on a given night but the Devils have been bad for so long and the kids are still so young that I never address load management/loafing.
If you are inclined to wager either of these teams or the parlay I suggest you do it now cause it’s going stratospheric.

A lot of handicappers fuck around with "units" in order to inflate their record. This is because a unit doesn't mean anything unless you stay consistent with it. For example, if I start out the season losing 10 games in a row, claiming each pick is 1 unit, I'm 0-10 and down 10 units. If I want to be a piece of shit scamdicapper, I can say that game #11 is 10 units, and this way if I win, I'm back even. And if I lose, I can say the next game is 20 units, and I can keep raising "units" until I get even or ahead. This works because these guys aren't really betting at those rates (or betting at all), so they can just keep raising the stakes for unlimited fictitious units.Quote:
