Not exactly decisive wins in NFL but I'll take it.
Under covering by 0.5 and fading OT scoring, under covering by 2.5, and a side covering by 4.5.
Still 3-0 in the record and money books.
Nets are crap though and I hate myself right after I hit the submit button on the bets.
Boy Sanlmar isn't kidding.
Looks like I'm about to negate my 3-0 NFL day with an 0-3 NCAAB/NBA day. The two NBA picks weren't even close. At least the NCAAB one was a good pick which just lost in OT.
Annoying. I will be sad when football is over. I won't have anything to cover my basketball losses anymore.
Have Warnock -1000, $200 to win $20. Odds are now -2000 so I feel not as stupid.
He's probably winning but I don't like doing these -1000 type political bets unless it's a total slam dunk where there's just about zero point zero chance of it getting fucked.
I remember I was putting money on Obama -800 in 2008 after the financial crash made it just about an ironclad guarantee he would win.
Haven't done an NFL moneyline in awhile.
As much as I hate the crappy Saints, I believe they will win tonight.
New Orleans +162 at Tampa Bay
Trying to redeem myself in NBA.
Celtics stomped on me yesterday, but I think the Raptors will beat them today, with Boston back-to-back on the road.
Toronto -1.5 vs Boston
ESPN should cancel that crappy MNF game and put on VGK Bruins.
Still working on NHL. The VGK under ATM will be tested. Not the usual 6.5 but 6. Both teams high scoring and great defense. Playoff hockey infers a low scoring affair but idk.
Feel lighting some weekend on fire with NHL dogs
Haven’t pushed button yet
Pour one out for my fallen jungle guide Simp. Can’t cut the pace, huh?
VGK +159 vs Bruins
Ex Bruins coach Cassidy now with VGK. Bruins President and ex star Cam Neely is an awkward fuck and unceremoniously dumped Cassidy. Revenge spot. Cassidy knows Pasta and all the players and their weaknesses. VGK is great on the road. Bruins at home is record breaking stuff though.
Too much value. Gamesmanship atm with announcing goalies.
Montreal +214 vs the Canucks.
The Canucks are not -260 vs anyone. Great over team for and against though. Montreal plays hard. This game smells fishy. NHL lines are pretty efficient now almost like NFL. I don’t get it.
Goalies not confirmed and they are all pretty crummy options
I did push button on Montreal TT over 2.5. That’s pretty obv.
My action provided as a public service so that you can go opposite.
I double entered my Celtics 1st half over twice as a tribute to Druff’s successful blunder.
Celtics are 16-7-1 total overs 1st half if I recall.
The Bruins is a wee bit forced.
Avalanche is a regulation bet. Goes to overtime I lose.
The NFL is a Druff tail cause if you know someone better at NFL this year you haven’t told me who that is. It’s not you.
Celtics always burn me.
Raptors had an 8 point lead near halftime, but are just getting destroyed in the 3rd. I expected them to be worn out. Nope!
Doesn't help that the Raptors are a very inconsistent team and easily choke.
Liking the way Saints bet looking so far, even though it's only 7-3.
That was a horrendous end. I saw it coming though, as soon as the Bucs got that touchdown to make it 16-10. The Saints were just playing awful, and it looked like an epic comeback was about to happen.
And it did.
They even got a second fucking chance when the final TD was invalidated due to holding, and still couldn't stop it.
Tom Brady, for as great as he always was, only had one 13+ point comeback in the 4th quarter, in his 23-year career. This was the second.
Sadly if I had bet spread, this would have been virtually clinched (and won). I was so sure it was a winner when it was mid-4th and Saints ball, I tweeted a brag about being "smart enough" to fade 2022 Brady. Oops.
Still 40-17-1 in NFL, but this one hurt.
40-17-1 is obscene
The Saints were the correct play obv.
What isn’t correct is wagering basketball. Ever. We’ve been over this endlessly. If Haralobob quit basketball with the advent of 3’s what makes anyone else think it can be beat?
Aside from 3’s there is the loafing and load management etc.
He initially made money from betting 2nd halves in NBA games when they were simply half the pregame total (lol). Took awhile for the books to figure out that lining second halves this way was wrong. Boneheaded mistake and Bob took advantage.
The other stuff you describe came later.
Is there where I post sports wagers? I've been looking for the wagering thread for some time now.
I've been told to follow Todd - he will make me millions!
tyvm...hnd :)
I apologize in advance for my awful posting habits - I will learn fast I hope - tyvm-hnd
Q4 is busy San. Will try to post tomorrow.
Was on Montreal although the book pays out if your team is up by 3 goals. Still a euro book that now has .ca at the end since we're in the shit zone of legalized wagering too.
Also tailed on Boston and that ML hurt.
Colorado banged up will be interesting to see how the next few games go for them. Philly is a dumpster fire and beat them.
Might want to fade them 2-3 games to see where things go.
NHL
Sens -110
Carolina/Anaheim under 6
Marner over 2.5 shots -115
Degen play
Redwings +200ish (put a little more on this)
Montreal +225
Columbus +240
Only need one of these to hit to be slightly profitable.
Fascinating card. I got lost in it for quite a while. Lotta fun
Carolina/Anaheim under 6 ✅
Pyotr Kochetkpv confirmed for Canes. Learn the spelling cause you’ll be using it a lot. Hotshot goalie of the future.
I don’t see the Ducks scoring over 2. The Canes will likely play down to Ducks honestly. Ducks give up power play goals tho. 4 is a lot and it’s lined 3½. You make it or push.
Columbus +240 Vs Penguins. ️
Penguins got the creeping crud. Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Poehling to name a few that are likely to play cause they have to. Penguins can’t call up players because of salary cap issues. Sick guys will play but will mistakes be made?
https://www.si.com/nhl/penguins/news...ers-remain-out
On the other hand… Elvis Merzlikins is in net for CBJ. He is the worst goalie in the league. CBJ wins with Korposolov but he needs a day off. Merzlikins is coming off an injury and long layoff to boot. There is a story that Merzlikens saw his buddy die in a fireworks accident. Some think that fucked him up this year. Columbus fires a cannon in the rink and Merzlikens has stated he doesn’t like it.. Literally shell shocked.
I looked at this game both as chalk and a juicy dog. Just couldn’t.
Montreal +224 vs Kraken ️
Montreal plays hard and has young talent. They lost a wild overtime game after being up 4-0 in the 1st. They are on the road back to back.
Kraken have Martin Jones in net and he has a .893 save percentage. I know it’s me cause he wins but I have low confidence. Montreal can snipe.
I really really came close to using Kraken at home with their great record as a chalk parlay piece but out of respect for Montreal I passed. That’s just low T on my part.
This is my low IQ chalk parlay @ +170
Islanders/Devils/Hurricanes
I changed my password on my book and locked it away so I am not tempted by Druff NBA. Fucking around on that Celtics game turned a profitable night to shit. Numbers massively supported the bet but lol NBA totals.

(EDIT, EDIT, EDIT - I DO NOT recommend playing these by themselves)
Combined they are (+1038) on this 3 team parlay!
This isn't slow and steady - it's YOLO! (and why I am always broke) -

NBA
Detroit at Miami - Under 220
NCAAB picks for a bit later to be posted shortly
NCAAB
Iowa +2 at Duke
Missouri Kansas City +17 at Oklahoma
Wisconsin -2 -107 vs Maryland
Pepperdine -2.5 vs Nevada
I have no idea how to add or reply to a thread so i guess I just open my original and add at the bottom?
In any case, take a look at this kid...Shane Wright
Think he played a handful of games earlier in the year with not much to do...and was sent down.
Tonight he is returning from his "five game" conditioning loan with Coachella Valley (sounds like rookie camp orgie)
Apparently he was pissed/upset/offended Montreal didn't select him 1st overall. Even so far as giving the team a nasty look when he was called up as the 4th overall pick with Seattle.
Interestingly enough he will be making his return to the Kraken tonight to face the aforementioned Montreal Canadiens. Lots of anticipation with this game and the "bad blood" - seeing his anytime goal score prop move down to +300 - if ya believe in shit like this...Spent 2021/22 in OHL Kingston(ON) where in 63 games he tallied 32 goals & 62 assists.
Shane Wright (Kraken) Anytime Score +300 is the play.
Seattle Kraken vs Le Habs
if he nets a hatty - take home (+10000)
tyvm, hnd
So far, so good with the Miami under. 61 points, with 8:10 left in 2Q.
We will be waiting awhile to see all of the NCAAB games go final, as one of them is at 8pm PT!
Missouri KC tied with Oklahoma at the half! Keep in mind that Missouri KC was like a +1000 dog. I didn't have the balls to bet the moneyline there. I still think they eventually lose, but obviously our +17 is looking nice at this point.
97 point in the Miami NBA game at the half. Also good, but not a lock, especially since the game is close. Other 3 haven't started.
Need MKC to pull a bit closer down 22 but Miami under hit
Amazingly Missouri KC didn't cover the +17, despite a tie at halftime. They collapsed and lost by 22. Terrible.
Right now I'm watching the very end of Hellmuth's alma mater, Wisconsin, up 60-55 with 50s left. Gotta cover 2 to tie, 3 to win.
Iowa down 37-31 at halftime. Just hasn't looked good so far. Both games on ESPN/ESPN2.
Wisconsin covered, and the NBA under also covered, though it was far closer than it should have been. 61 points in 4Q despite a blowout game. Glad that didn't screw us.
Anyway, looks like it will probably be down to Pepperdine (currently up early) as to whether I win or lose today.
Detroit/Miami under 220 (NBA) - Win
Missouri Kansas City +16.5 at Oklahoma - Loss
Madison -2 vs Maryland - Win
Iowa +2 at Duke - Losing at the moment
Pepperdine -2.5 vs Nevada - Winning at the moment
