Yeah this one at least didn't hurt as much because it felt like it was losing the entire way. Still sucks though because of how close it ended up, and how I was minutes away from getting the winning line.
It stings much more when it seems like a lock after 3 and then loses.
Anyway if the other 3 cover, I'll feel better.
Geez a lot of bad luck today.
Idaho state had the ball and a 5-point lead with 1:27 left, and Denver committed a technical. Idaho missed the technical and scored no baskets the rest of the way, allowing Denver to get back within 2. Denver got the final possession and tried for a 3 just to win it rather than OT, and they hit it, and won the game 70-69 at the buzzer. Awful. Total collapse by Idaho. I had -3.5 so I needed more than just Idaho to win, but they really should've covered, shooting a T, up 5 with 1:27 left.
Some of these college games feature some really bad play. 0-2 to start the day between this and the 0.5-point NBA loss.
On the bright side, Santa Clara up 15 at the half, and Tulsa is up 11 at the half. So I could still have a winning day (because SC is +121) if they both cover.
I’ve been hitting a bunch of garbage I didn’t really feel strongly about the last few nights waiting for the weekend and I like 10 different games today. This is usually the type of weekend that makes me find a sponsor. Could be a bloodbath and I like a lot of dogs. Early games. Already bet Illinois +17.5 earlier this week. I might envy Bielema’s mother if today breaks wrong.

Already made a bunch of bets earlier in the week that I dont remember all of, so got to be careful betting today not to double down, or will be instant loss.
Not going to lie, I woke up this morning and checked my balance and it was more than I expected. At some point in the week I bet San Diego St. -14 -115 and it won. Did not remember betting that one at all.
Well we got screwed here because UL’s QB is confirmed also out this week and he’s really good. NC State indeed has a lot of key injuries and players out but the UL QB injury means the line didn’t move in our favor. The under would’ve been the play.Quote:

I have over in UCF game.
UCF coach is horrible. Navy does a 9 minute TD drive to start the game. On next possession UCF gets a couple quick first downs and then at their own 40 they punt on 4th and 1. Horrible. Good chance Navy runs another 9-10 minutes off the clock now and they will be down 2 scores with 35% of game over.
If you are UCF you always go for it here.
Edit: Game is going about has horrible as it could. UCF 2 trips inside the Navy 10 and two FGs. Both times lost easy TDs due to dropped catches on 3rd down.
I didn’t even look at that game as UCF stuck a knife in me earlier this year when I bet against them, but I have had Navy overs before and experienced that death by a thousand cuts 22 play 11 minute drives feeling. I’ve had overs where they’d go 19 plays and kick a FG. You’re still live as long as they’re scoring touchdowns. UCF is a bit of a second half time when I’ve watched them.Quote:

My start to this day is insanely bad so far. Teams I have taken the side on have kicked 4 FGs under 25 yards so far.
I have Connecticut and Mich St. Both had 1st and Goal from the 1 and had to kick a FG. Insane.
Halftime Navy up 14-6 and UCF only had the ball 3 times. That is exactly why you dont punt on 4th and 1 at the 40. Just horrible tactics by the UCF coach. Even the commentators were like WTF.Quote:

I have never understood why Army always fields such terrible teams.
They spend about $100m a year on marketing. Prolly much more on NASCAR sponsorships and other stuff. They have live male viewers on a Saturday afternoon and the only emotion generated by the team is embarrassment and ridicule. Not pride or enthusiasm
What would it cost to buy some athletes and carry them. Stick them with some desk job after graduation. Why is the academy the only place where military fraud is looked down upon?

Just like military flyovers at Dodger games and NASCAR decals and what have you. The goal is recruiting. The military spends $100’s of millions every year in advertising and bonuses to get kids to sign up and they are coming up short.
The members of the team would be assigned the mission of promoting the Service image and national pride etc. The fact that the QB isn’t taking advanced Physics will be understood. Just like any other college athlete.

Took Duke +7.5. They are down 14 halfway through 4th and score a TD, and inexplicably go for 2, with a play that has no chance of ever converting. I really dont know what these coaches are thinking. I have seen coaches do this like 15 times, and I have never seen it actually work out where randomly going for 2 late in the game and scoring is the difference and a team wins by 1 that would have gone to OT otherwise.
0.0% of the time does it work out like that.

Stanford is down 10 and kicks a 60 yard FG on last play of the game just to make the game go over. Gives them no chance to win game. First time in my life I have seen this. To make it worse they got 15 yards on a 4th and 2 with 10 seconds left in game just to get them into position to kick a 60 yard FG on last play.
