BAck in the OK Computer days, I got the Airbag single/EP, and it stayed in my 30 disk changer for years. Mostly for this/these songs. Then I got to see them in Worcester a few months later, and this was an encore.

I've probably posted this one in the last decade sometimes. So it was, so it is again.

The greatest Zeppelin song I never loved. Tried again, still don't. It's cool enough, tho. I keep coming back to it, waiting for the day I love it...

I got to see just about everyone I wanted to, saw every band that mattered for 2+ decades, first because my brother brought me to the cool shit, then I brought him to the cool shit, then all of a sudden we've seen everyone for 20+ years, often from great seats.
But I had a chance to see Nirvana in Lowell or Worcester or some shit in high school, and I said "next time." They'll play Boston next time, right?
There was no next time.

Nice AIC play Crowe. Alice in Chains have a strong place in my heart- a strong member berry in my consciousness. Specifically the 96 Unplugged album/dvd was very moving and I connected with it in some darker times of mine. AIC was such a special band to come out of grunge. Layne was incredible and his story is heartbreaking. I'm watching the concert now. Lots of feels. Here are a few of my favorites of the 13 song set list. Okay maybe more than a few as I find it difficult to choose. Please forgive me. But I encourage everyone to watch the whole concert.
Just a little background as I recall: so Layne was dope sick when he showed up at the MTV set and a crew member scored for him just before the concert. They monitored how much he took so he would still have the ability to perform but not be sick. He took just enough speedball right before the taping (walking out in time for the first song) and some more part way through the show. The douchebags from Metallica were in the front row as they were friends with Cantrell. They had been badmouthing Layne and making fun of his addiction in front of audiences during their tour, that AIC had backed out of. (Fast forward to Hetfield in rehab for alcoholism asking for understanding.) Fuck off. So some members of AIC were very concerned Layne wouldn't be able to hit the difficult notes and perform up to standard since his decline. Cantrell assured the band he could do it. And what did Layne do in front of all of them: he crushed it. Incredible performance and yet so sad to see what had become of him, a ridiculously talented musician full of personal character. I still get chills watching/listening to this.

Been meaning to share this for awhile now, but it kept slipping my mind. The wait is over…

Maybe I’m wrong, but I kinda feel that children performing old timey country songs is kind of underrepresented in this thread. Plus, I’ve been to the Rocky Top Truck Stop in Tennessee, if only to use their bathroom once or twice, and got no complaints about it.

Wow! Does this ever take me back to my youth when one of my high school girlfriends worked in a grocery store. Plus, the chick in the thumbnail has a nice pair of melons.

They say I'm outta my skull
I'm really, really going down
And I'm taking the Queers
My wrist went limp
And I resemble a chimp in between my ears
I'm a fucking jerk, under a bridge I lurk
I'm an idiot, too
I guess I'm not a punk
'Cause I stopped getting drunk
And puking all over my shoes
I can't run with you sports
I'm hanging on the porch
And I'm having fun today
Well, everything's O.K. with me
Well, everything's O.K. with me
Well, everything's O.K., oh yeah
Well, I'm in love with you, too
You see I'm still around with some different clowns
And I don't need to get stoned
I've got a punk rock girl
Sweet as a chocolate swirl in a sugar cone
I'm not a fucking jerk
'Cause I don't have to work
I travel all over the world
I oughta beat your ass
You stupid fucking spaz
The sight of you is making me hurl
I don't care if I'm cool
If I don't get kicked outta school
And here's where I'm at today
