Trump's FEMA chief pick just walked off the job.
Totally normal functional gov behavior, all this is fine.
also just in case anyones keeping track anymore, trump's hand picked intelligence chiefs just said in a public hearing that every single major foreign policy talking point trump has crowed about for months is essentially a deluded fantasy.

Only another Billionaire can save us from a Billionaire.
You really should stick with issues on your side of the pond, like crumpets, the queen, Brexit, etc.
Mueller can't do anything to Trump. Mueller is going to write a report. That's it. And (get this) the report is supposed to be secret and only for the Attorney General (Lullz - I know).
Then, even if election crimes are committed, get this -- he can't be prosecuted while in office.
So, keep watching CNN International in between poker sessions, it's a good look for you.
Paul Manafort: Trump ex-aide lied to prosecutors, judge rules
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-47234491
Donald Trump's former election campaign chief Paul Manafort breached his plea deal with special counsel Robert Mueller by lying to prosecutors, a US judge says.
US District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled that Manafort "made multiple false statements" to the FBI, Mr Mueller's office and a grand jury.
In her ruling on Wednesday, Judge Berman Jackson said there was evidence that showed Manafort had lied about - among other things - contacts he had with Konstantin Kilimnik, a Russian political consultant. Prosecutors claim Mr Kilimnik had ties to Russian intelligence.
The judge also cleared Manafort of allegations that he lied on two other subjects.
The verdict means that Manafort - who has been held in a detention centre in Virginia since June - could now potentially face harsher sentences or have charges against him re-filed.
gotta wonder if they got the corroborating evidence from stone's inbox.
awwwwwkwarrrrrrrd.

People do not appreciate how far we have fallen from normal standards of presidential accountability. Today we have a president who is willing not only to comment prejudicially on criminal prosecutions but to comment on ones that potentially affect him. He does both of these things almost daily. He is not just sounding a dog whistle. He is lobbying for a result. The president has stepped over bright ethical and moral lines wherever he has encountered them. Every day brings a new low, with the president exposing himself as a deliberate liar who will say whatever he pleases to get whatever he wants.
As opposed to any other politician that will lie to get what they want.......
Tomorrow, Trump will declare a "National Emergency" and take $5.7 Billion out of the Department of Defense or Homeland Security to build the "Big Beautiful Trump Wall" on the Mexican border.
How long before they impeach the bastard?

Riam Dalati, the Syria producer at the BBC, said that the footage of people being treated after an alleged chemical weapons attack in the Syrian city of Duma was staged. Everything else around the attack was fabricated, according to Dalati.

I love brown ppl but I don't want them here if it's in their best interest to hate me so they get free $
ann thinks that the president can just move money around in his capacity as commander in chief so i'm curious why she thinks this is sudh a mistake
just wait until a democrat president declares a national emergency on something that is actually a national emergency
republicans will be losing their shit lying about how much they love the constitution and america
but yeah, when a democrat's in office, let's see what happens after another school is shot up
be more dramatic and repeat more claims from the top comments of a cnn facebook article
ok so i did a little reading on this and it looks the existing national emergencies have been about totally non-controversial things. congress is required to meet every 6 months to consider whether to terminate them, but never has cause they are so irrelevant.
this looks like it would be the first time a national emergency would be declared that people care about.
the reason presidents don't always do this whenever they don't get their way is the whole "we're a nation of laws and not a dictatorship" thing.
if president trump uses a national emergency in this fashion, what exactly stops a democratic president from doing it?
this reminds me of when mitch McConnell told harry reid that democrats would rue the day they abolished the filibuster for certain presidential nominations. mitch was right.
All this getting fuckall done because of fighting in the House & Senate could be averted if America took a brave leap into the unknown by installing a Monarchy.
One person calling the shots would result in getting shit done and also prevent the country from slipping into another civil war (assuming the military was onside).
Obviously choosing the right family to rule over you for many generations to come would be a huge call to make.
But as an outsider and, IMO, the perfect contenders to begin your own royal dynasty, would be the family of the best President you've had during my lifetime.
Hello Queen Chelsea.
Granted, having to call Hillary your "Queen Mother" may not go down well in some quarters, but she won't be around forever.
Thoughts?
Can't wait for when a Dem POTUS declares a national emergency re climate change and mandates zero emissions immediately. I'll feel bad for the like 10 coal miners that are currently still employed in the US when the government shuts their mine down. But the histrionics from the lunatic side of the "GOP" will be hilarious.
Queen whore of Fox News Laura Ingraham retweeted this.
Do I see splits between Trump and his most loyal cranks in the media starting to appear?
Hannity next?
