I wanted the under in the Tigers game @ 8 but it’s 7.5. Weather.
I have -118 Tigers so pass.
Marlins cannot score. Maybe a first 5 RL. Mets still in a fight.
I did this overnight. Cards prolly don’t care. I like the total but not 8.5 now.
I got some shameful preseason hockey. Only simp would care. It’s more of an investment in my NHL 2022/3 education
Marlins took it first-5, but not without some drama. They let a 4-0 lead slip to 4-3 in the 4th, thanks to Pete Alonso. They added two in top-5, though, so they safely were ahead 6-3 after 5. Nice.
Detroit seemed dead. 3-0 and Greinke was cruising, after 7. Then Mike Matheny made the ultimate Greinke mistake -- he left him in when Greinke was tired.
:baddecision
I've seen this play out a million times as a Dodgers fan. When Greinke is running low on gas in the 7th-9th, you pull him. Always.
Well, they didn't, and the Royals scored 3. Miggy then blew it and lined out to end the threat.
Currently in that stupid extra inning shit with a runner on 2nd. Detroit wormed out of 1st/2nd with 1 out, and they're up, and just need to push the run home to win my other one.
I got some ego to dismiss Druff picks. I ain’t that good.
Druff is the wagering king. This has been so much fun.
Wow... I screwed myself hard today.
I went 2-0, right?
Not so fast. I went on the betting site, and I went 1-1. What?!
I looked more closely and I had left "first 5 innings" selected from the Marlins bet, so my Tigers bet was first 5 innings, not full game. So that exciting comeback from 3-0 was meaningless for me. I had already lost. So frustrated right now. I usually check these, but somehow let this one get by. One time I even caught the wrong bet on this site and called them quickly, and they agreed to reverse it. Obviously now it's way too late. Totally just threw money away.
What sucks about this mistake, too, was that there were several outcomes which wouldn't have mattered. It could have both lost first-5 and the game, and it would have been neutral. Or it could have won first-5 and the game, again being neutral. Or I could have gotten lucky, with Detroit being up or tied after first-5, but ultimately losing. Here was the only result I could have had which fucked me -- behind after 5, winning the game.
This is infinitely more frustrating than if the game just lost.
:fail2
The edges are so thin in sportsbetting, if at all, that you can't do this to yourself.
This will take awhile for me to get over.
Alright my fat fingered friend ….
Washington Nationals team total over 3½ +110
For your simple amusement look at Nats full game ML then F5. Knew you would understand.
Last year the sharp guys (meaning me) were parlaying Giants/Dodgers every night. Wanna do Braves Mets but I have declining testorene as the years roll by. Still eyeing live Braves after 5 as a plan.
Please advise Druff and San.
Jays / Yankees over 7
Yankees clinched last night and drank beers. Are they bringing their A game?
Mitch White can be counted on for 3-5 runs if the Yankees didn’t party that hard.
Rizzo torres Stanton sitting maybe more.
Just goofing around until playoffs start with the teams who have strong incentive to win. Had the same bet on braves last night and woke up to comfortable 6 run win. I’ll give them another go and figured I’d take both end of the last pennant race also. Think Braves eventually surpass them, but betting on not yet tonight.

Oh, I believe Braves win in the end. 10-5 would be great.
Hey Simp, how you feel about Druff coming for your stupidity wagering crown? I just can’t with those two teams. There are several bans and restraining orders between the two. Don’t you find the 7 suspicious?
Saw a claim that more Judge HR props were bet last night than any individual side. Fandual gave a gimmick refund. Crazy
Free rolling the over 7 now. Finally got to Cole.
I bet the wrong side a few times a football season. I have done it once so far this season, and the bet won, where I should have lost. Shrug. I also will periodically accidentally double bet (do the same bet twice) and even very rarely accidentally bet both sides of the same game. But I dont pretend to have any edge, so whatever.
Yesterday on a whim I bet Judge O1.5 total bases -150, and he walked 4 times and I lost. LOL What a stupid prop that is.
Today I saw the bet was down to -115 and I decided to pass for some reason, and of course he homered.
Short notice, but...
Cincinnati -4 vs Miami
Two baseball picks:
Marco Gonzalez has just 94 K in his 171 innings pitched, and has given up 15 hits in his last 2 starts combined (11.1 innings). While I see opponent Jon Gray as overrated, he has given up 2 runs or fewer in 5 of his 7 last starts, and 1 or fewer in 4 of his last 7.
Dodgers/Padres have a bullpen game on both sides. The Dodgers are fielding a pretty strong lineup despite these games being meaningless, other than extending their franchise win record. The Padres, however, also don't have much to play for. They're pretty much locked into the #2 wildcard spot, ahead of both the Phillies and Brewers by 3 games, with just 7 to play. BOTH of these teams would have to catch the Padres for them to lose their playoff spot, and they will be on the road in their first round series no matter what.
Texas (Jon Gray) +112 at Seattle (Marco Gonzalez)
Dodgers +120 -1.5 at Padres (NOTE: this is an "action" bet, as the starting pitchers don't matter, since they will only go 1-2 innings)
Wow, I got a shot to win both of these.
Dodgers grinded back from a 2-1 deficit to get up 5-2, right now in bottom-8. Remember, I have to win by 2.
Texas, down 7-4, got two solo HR in the 7th, now down 7-6 and has 1st and 3rd nobody out in the top of the 8th.
gogogo
Druff nice call on NFL
That was definitely a trap game. Miami QB was banged up before the game but +4 Miami made no sense.
KEEP IT GOING
Cincinnati (Ashcraft) +146 at Cubs (Sampson)
Well this isn't going well. I don't know why I thought Ashcraft would have a good game. He has some talent, but he just hasn't been that good.
Anyway, most of you didn't get to bet it because I posted it so last minute.
Here's two unders you will have time to bet:
Yankees (German) vs. Baltimore (Voth) - Under 7.5 -105 (8 -125 ok)
Washington (Sanchez) vs. Philadelphia (Syndergaard) - Under 8.5 -125 (Game 2 of Doubleheader)
Here's an early NFL pick for you:
Atlanta +100 vs. Cleveland
I am submitting Miami (Alcantara) F5 +140 v Milw (Corbin Burnes).
Alcantara looks to be back on the beam and Corbin Burnes has def not been so sharp his last 5 outings
Burnes is the trusted brand name with ploppies.
Brewers just feel quitters to me.
KC Singer F5 -110 is every wiseguy’s dream pick. Ploppies love Cleveland. Indians Civale is no prize. I’m gonna lose my BCR privileges but Cleveland will finish strong and win. I wonder what it was overnight? CLV is over rated. Put the F5 to work for you.
Atlanta +116 over Mets of course. I did the series +240. Fair price no lock. Hedge like a bitch if you see Jansen in bullpen. (Life advice - no ATL runline in playoffs cause a 3 run lead with Jansen spells a likely loser. Druff knows.)
Kershaw and Mariners are approved parlay chalk.
Hard to get invested when a game is -11.5 and you could have got -7 at the open, but here we have Kent St.
Cincy wasn't even close. Lost 6-1.
Yankees under wasn't close -- in a good way. 3 runs scored total, easy win.
Phillies game 2 was postponed.
Went a little overboard, but here we go:

Penrith Panthers are going to run the Paramatta Eels over tonight. 17/21 on spreads this season
One MLB pick today
Ortiz has been surprising everyone in Pittsburgh. Montgomery was great for the Cardinals at first, but has seemingly collapsed.
I'll take the far hotter hand.
Pittsburgh (L. Ortiz) +185 at St. Louis (Montgomery) - first 5 innings
The 185 on BOL right now might be a mistake, so grab it quickly. I see 170 elsewhere (which I would still take)
Ouch. Horrendous pick on my part with the Pirates. 6-0 Cardinals in the second inning. Also I have Ortiz on my fantasy team, which is in a close battle for 2nd. Double pain.
This has been my second bad pick in two days. Notice that for the past month or so, even my losing picks have been very close, for the most part. When I start picking games which get blown out (when I lose), that's when I begin to scratch my head and revisit things. Two games don't mean much, though, and the regular season is about over, so I won't be making any changes.
I may stand pat with the Falcons only for tomorrow. I'm looking at few others, such as the 49ers, but I'm not ready to fire just yet.
Okay, I'm going to fire on the late game.
Here have been Dylan Cease's last 8 games:
8 IP, 2 ER
9 IP. 0 ER
6 IP. 0 ER
5 IP, 3 ER
6 IP, 1 ER
6 IP, 0 ER
Granted, this was against Arizona, Minnesota, Oakland, Colorado (in Chicago), Cleveland, and Detroit -- none being offensive powerhouses, but still. The guy has a 2.06 ERA and 1.089 WHIP in 31 starts this year.
Clevinger is inconsistent, and he's had bad outings in 3 of his past 4 starts.
I'll take the evenish money on the White Sox here.
White Sox (Cease) -101 at San Diego (Clevinger)
Well, I bricked both MLB picks yesterday. Not good.
Here's my NFL picks for today:
Already made/posted:
Atlanta +100 vs Cleveland
New pick:
Indiana vs. Tennessee - Under 43
Against my better judgment, I will re-fire on the Pirates against the Cardinals.
Roansy Contreras has allowed 2 ER or fewer in 6 of his past 7 starts -- the only exception being against the Yankees, where he still struck out 10.
Adam Wainwright, all 41 years of him, has allowed 4 ER in 4 of his past 5 starts, including against 2 bad teams. I will take the nice plus money on this one. However, I'll go first-5, because I don't expect the punchless Pittsburgh offense to outplay St. Louis in the later innings, once Contreras and Wainwright are gone.
Pittsburgh (R. Contreras) +160 at St. Louis (Wainwright) -- FIRST 5 INNINGS
I had Dodgers -1.5 last night. Was dead down 4-1. Then the walkathon happened and it was 4-4. Still needed exactly 2 more. Thankfully more walks and Bellinger brought home that glorious 6th run with 2 out hit and turned shit bet into winner. I might have briefly hummed I love LA.
Duke was big for me yesterday. Good day. Lost Indiana, but hit Duke, Dodgers, Maryland, and smaller bet I forget now.

Don’t love this one, but Falcons have horrible run defense. Browns may not win, but hard to see them lose badly, but we will see.

Cleveland down 23-20, going for at least a FG, throws an interception. 23-20 Falcons final, I win.
Colts under looks dead. 24-17 in the 3rd with 7+ min left in quarter. Zeroes for rest of third, but still need a complete zero 4th. Colts make baffling decisions to kick it with 2 min left, down 7, and miss FG. Final score 24-17.
Amazing. Definitely been lucky here in my now 16-2-1 start in NFL.
Roided Pujols killing me though in Pirates bet. 4-4 in 4th, but Cards have runner on 2nd, no out. Shit.
