Kenley F. Jansen
Well, they got out of the 8th, but now in top 9, Yelich just greeted Kenley with a 2-strike double. Always a sweat.
Anyone have Rich Strike today?
Daly actually had a good tip with Taiba. Was 12-1 when I looked, went off at 5-1. But didn't show. I passed, but was close to firing on it.
Tyrone Taylor singled Yelich home, making it 22 RHE, and just 1 out with a man on 1st.
Rowdy Tellez went to a 2-0 count, but struck out, and Taylor was thrown out stealing.
Squeaked into the win.
:yes
It’s like losing twice, Druff
12-1 was the morning line which doesn’t really mean much. I think most folks knew he would be far shorter than that.
It’s not terribly uncommon for there to be a little bit of variance between the official track pool odds and what the sportsbooks hang. It is uncommon for BOL to deal +700 on a otherwise +450 bet with a 100K limit. Remarkable really. Too bad we couldn’t cash it.
At least we aren’t the guy who sold the horse off for 30K a few months back..,.., ouch
Leafs/Tampa under 6.5 +102
St Louis Minny under 6.5 -110
St Louis -112
MLB Jays -1.5 -118 ** Manoah pick. They did finally lose his last start but we'll try this train out one more time.
In honor of winning the first R+H+E bet of the year (barely), here is another.
St. Louis (Dak. Hudson) at San Francisco (Junis) - Over 25 R+H+E -120
22mph wind blowing out
Junis has a 8.74 ERA in the minors, including HR problems. Ignore his good 10 IP in April with the Giants.
3 minutes
Gerrit Cole of the New York Yankees will have under 7.5 strikeouts
When you call mom today tell her ask her for a few quid for
Will there be a score in 1st Inning - NO (COL @ ARI)
You have Marquez & Gallen pitching.
That will give you a roll for the Dodger game. You’ll need it cause we have several bets
Walker Buehler of the Los Angeles Dodgers will have over 5.5 strikeouts
Marcus Stroman of the Chicago Cubs will have over 4.5 strikeouts
Roll these two guys & their strikeouts together in a parlay @ +353.
Dodgers really ain’t hitting respectable righties (that’s enuff Dodger shade).
You are gonna package two things Druff loves - Dodgers and unders. I know, I know.
913 Los Angeles Dodgers/Chicago Cubs under 7½ -110
both these starters are going deep and we have nice bullpens. No wind out at Wrigley.
I’m doing the Edmonton Oilers -105 regulation (60 minutes only - no overtime) vs LA Kings.
This should satisfy my trolling the city of losers for,Sunday.
Here's a pick for all you ploppies out there:
Milwaukee (Woodruff) -1.5 -105 at Cincinnati (L. Castillo)
Luis Castillo is coming off a long injury and hasn't pitched in MLB in 2022. Brandon Woodruff isn't off to his usual strong start, but he had 12 K last time out.
The Reds are the Reds.
3-1 and a bunch of cancelled
3-2 including my RHE Druff tail. I liked the RHE
-1.5 Milwaukee isn’t straight Ploppie but the RL record supports the bet. I already had Milwaukee as a parlay piece.
Consider CWS 1st 5 in some fashion as a fade of Indians Plesac. He is trending in wrong direction. Brewers CWS parlay?
You're right about Pleasc.
He's looked awful lately, and his velocity is down. White Sox's Kopech was an elite prospect at one point, and has great numbers thus far, but last time out wasn't so hot (he squeaked out of trouble against the lousy Cubs), and he has a 23/11 K/BB ratio. He's also never gone more than 5 IP this season.
So yeah this does kinda have a first-5 feel to it. I see on BOL it's White Sox -0.5 -135 in first 5, though I think you can do a little better elsewhere line-wise.
Might be worse firing on this, though. I see a bombing of Plesac, and honestly even if Kopech isn't great, they just gotta be up after 5 for the bet to win. I'll revisit shortly.
Okay, Sanlmar has me sold.
White Sox (Kopech) -0.5 -125 vs. Cleveland (Plesac) - 1ST 5 INNINGS
Every time I bet like a ploppy, I lose.
Thanks San for bailing me out to 1-1 today.
Then you might not want to read further. Overnight CLV on ploppie bets credits you ploppie betting dispensation.
Milwaukee Brewers/Cincinnati Reds over 8 -125
Reds Hunter Greene
Reds are hitting some now
I am violating my feelings about the baseballs by betting totals here. I blame hubris. I am self aware.
Trashy bullpen
Consider Brewers RL
Dodgers -1½ -135
Dodgers were all sleepy and strung out after Sunday Night Baseball. It happens. Did you see Urias get abused (squeezed) by the umpire? I felt bad and I don’t care for Urias. He was a man bottom of 6th. Props. His team mates let him down
Every Dodgers win has been by RL, I believe.
Let’s beat the Dodgers ploppies money tomorrow
I have some dog ideas like Arizona but I want 1st 5 lines
Whatcha lookin at? I mean other than Sarah Palin photos from 1994.
I love that over 8 we caught overnight on the Reds/Brewers game. Very ploppie game and the 8.5 offered now doesn’t mean anything to me in terms of information.
Got a little CLV on the Dodgers run line now -145. Again, doesn’t mean anything. Neither game is sharp.
I took Braves -136 over Red Sox. Sawks Whitlock is a reliever being stretched out because Sawks staffs blows. Love me ATL Wright more. I’m the 1st 5 guy but we have to fade that wretched Sawks bullpen.
I have a big Oilers position - last leg of a chalk parlay that makes them a little more then +100 to me. They are -217 or so now. The Kings won last meeting. A loss will set me back quite a bit. We will see.
First 4-pick day.
Mets (Carrasco) -0.5 -115 at Washington (Corbin) - FIRST 5 INNINGS
Corbin is pretty much a lock to have a bad game every time he goes out. Carrasco has been brilliant, aside from one horrendous start against the Cardinals. Near even money for the (better) Mets to be ahead after 5 is a great buy here.
Toronto (Kikuchi) at Yankees (Severino) - Over 7.5 +100
Kikuchi shut down the Yankees last time out, but it was his only good start of the year, and he has a 20/14 K/BB ratio, and in fact had down velocity in that one good game! Note that the wind is blowing in at 10mph, thus depressing this total, but we are looking at two pitchers with not-so-good WHIPs, to where that matters less.
Cleveland (Quantrill) at White Sox - Over 8 -115
Baltimore (Bradish) at St. Louis (Naughton) - Over 8.5 -105 (over 8 -120 ok)
Wind blowing out for this one. St. Louis doing a bullpen game.
Mia/Az 1st 5 under 4 is baiting me
Neither team hits. Both team strikeout a lot.
Madbum gonna be a mad and rested bum.
Wish I caught the 4.5 earlier
Welp... I get the one game of the season where Corbin isn't a complete trainwreck. So far he's looking dominant. Game 0-0, so at least I still have a shot at the Mets having the lead by the end of the 5th.
Blue Jays hitting Sevy pretty hard. Up 4-0 in the 2nd. Now I just need Kikuchi to be Kikuchi.
Wow. I actually lost a run. Toronto went from 4-0 to 3-0. Of course in a game where I have the over. Home run overturned.
I would laugh if I wasn't crying so hard.
Bad day for NY baseball so far.
Mets shut out for 5 innings and blew a few chances. That one loses OUTRIGHT for me.
Yankees can't hit a bad pitcher.
2-1 (I lost ATL vs BOS)
Dig into those Dodger Run Line results, Druff. You won’t believe it.
Reds and Dodgers are a peculiar pair to trust
Speaking of trust & totals. I do not think a wise man can trust the baseballs. Who knows. You won’t see me on totals very often.
Lock of the year. Ukraine to win Eurovision 2022. The odds have shortened massively in recent days so get on it asap. -159 (1.63) at the moment

New York Yankees -133 FAVORITE PLAY TODAY
Yanks Taillon is elite. Yankees bullpen is rested and the team is rolling. As much as I love the idea of the Jays as a fun team Berrios has a barrel rate problem
Marlins/Arizona Diamondbacks under 4 -110 for 1st 5 Innings
Great pitching & no hitting
Can’t resist this retard totals play
Cleveland Guardians/Chicago White Sox over 8½ -108
Cleveland Guardians/Chicago White Sox over 4½ -115 for 1st 5 Innings
Either/both/neither. Choose your dice.
Brewers RL is autobet. I have no control of the machine
Lotta deliciousness today
I’m into the Jamesons Whisky already. Thanks taillon. Thanks simp
This one is starting soon.
Chad Kuhl is a different pitcher since leaving Pittsburgh. He's had 5 great starts, including two at home in Denver, one of which was against the Phillies. Last game, the average exit velocity off opposing bats was 82mph! Wow!
Alex Cobb of the Giants has not been all that good since 2016, and this year he's been inconsistent thus far.
I'll take the big dog money here.
Colorado (Kuhl) +193 at San Francisco (Cobb)
1-1- COVID
The Reds over was the play. They suck and they hit. We learn
This Giants fsde by Druff… looking. It sure would be cool
Reds are far below the chart. Lol. Doesn’t account for recent performance and that is how we handicap. That be the edge son. Old data is the other side of the trade
Damn. Potential brutal beat coming.
I had JJJ O17.5 points for the game. He has 13 points in the 2nd Q and hurts his elbow diving for a ball. No clue if he comes back into the game or not, but they could definitely play it safe and keep him out seeing as they are up by 27 at halftime. Absolutely brutal.
I also had Tyus Jones O13.5 -140. He has 12 and probably good for 8 minutes in the 3rd before scrubs come in for whole 4th Q. So just need one basket. I am favorite, but not a lock by any stretch.
JJJ is back in for 3rd, but I am not sure it matters. Desmond Bane has taken like 15 shots in a row and has taken every shot in the 3rd so far. Looks like they are just going to let him eat the whole Q and then put in scrubs. Lame.
Edit: LOL. Jackson scores two 30 foot 3 pointers (I am not exaggerating, look at the box score) in the 3rd for the over. Oh yeah, I had Warriors -4 for game too. They are losing by 50, so that one probably isn't going to happen.
1:00p
Bad pitching & decent hitting
New York Mets/Washington Nationals over 4½ -120 for 1st 5 Innings
Yo Tickle
The more I look at this Mets game I’m certain the pitchers are gonna be calling mom to see if their childhood bedroom is still as they left it.
It’s the MLB baseballs so who knows
Nats Adon was spectacularly awful….. and lucky. 50 or so pitches in the 2nd. 2 inning ending double plays with at least 2 men on. Base running errors on both sides. Just stupid.
Right bet wrong result.
MLB has never been so hard. 9 projected 100 win teams and on the other side teams like a Cubs and Reds. Nothing in between and the lines to match. Stupid baseballs too
Betting these before weigh ins, mostly underpriced dogs on this Saturday’s May 14 UFC card (1 unit each):
