I think Gordon is Paul Pierce-ing us here

What little chance the Nuggets have in this game is being nullified by unbalanced officiating. They are mauling Jokic every play with no calls.
The NBA is just not a serious league - 1.8% chance team wins the draft lottery after the most controversial trade in modern American sports, then they purposefully hold off on announcing the MVP while the habitual flopping leading candidate is celebrating hitting three pointers up 35 against the other teams bench that couldn't beat most G League squads.
The Nuggets were never going to win this game. Even if they didn't blow it with turnovers, this has been another one of those NBA playoff mysteries where the game is officiated in ways that are never normally allowed. They could have, and in every game typically would have, called a foul on the way Jokic was getting slapped, checked, held, and bumped every possession, and then instead the yes men announcing crew are hyping up Caruso as some sort of Bruce Bowen type of playoff lockdown defender. It's pathetic.

These aren't fouls. (Very reminiscent of the last 3 games of the 2016 NBA Finals.)
im a turbo square for taking denver for multiple hundreds of dollars
Easy money. The lazy passes from Denver starting at end of 2nd Q.
Nugs worn out. 7 man team vs 11 man team
Valiant first half effort, anytine who's ever pulled a hamstring understands how wild it is that Gordon could compete. So unfortunate given how good he's been.
Murray's AIDS must have taken their toll, that guy is a gamer and looked more limited than Gordon.
Malone never blooded the young guys and it showed, you're fucked when you have no depth and dudes get hurt.
An LOL all health final four but I like watching all remaining teams, didn't see the Pacers much this year but they're rolling.
Zero chance the NBA is going to allow an Indy vs. OKC final. The fix is in for NYC. Book it.
The Knicks making it is probably the only way this won't be the lowest rated finals ever, and even then it will be close.

He would be totally justified in getting out of Denver.

Fall down, jump into defenders, lean into defenders - mvp.

The much larger and seemingly more athletic team's strategy has been to use none of their advantages on nearly any possession and to instead throw up awful three point attempts. Playing this way the Timberwolves are unlikely to win a game in this series.
14-46 from three with plenty of time left in the game.

This game and what it represents for the current state of the NBA isn't that different from the Mexican ship crashing into the Brooklyn Bridge and what it symbolizes for America.

This one was overturned on a challenge, but the point is the whistle and flopping in the first place.
Yeah but everyone shoots below average most of the time in playoffs. I’m not saying it’s ideal. Gobert being a non factor offensively is a killer. Edwards is the real culprit at shot selection. Feels like he can get to basket at will if he wanted. Randle abandons the 3 and drives if it isn’t falling. He was 5/6 so he wasn’t the problem. Naz was horrible, but he can’t drive on anyone. He’s a three specialist. Conley too old to get to hoop.
They shoot top 5 in 3 attempts all year when they really probably shouldn’t, but it’s always Edwards that is chucking 3s when he could get to hoop.
The threes were an awful strategy for more reasons than just bricking shots (they were routinely taking them in a hurry as well). The Thunder by the metrics were one of the best teams in transition all year, while the Timberwolves were actually the worst by the numbers. In the playoffs the Thunder have been by far the best. The advanced stats aren't out yet that I can find, but how many points were set up by long or erratic rebounds off of all the terrible threes? In the first half it was clear that the Timberwolves had a size advantage and could use that effectively to slow the pace of the game when in their half court defense. They held them to just 44 points. In the second half the misses and subsequent transition game basically eliminated that and any chance of them staying in any kind of rhythm.
I’m sorry, but it’s pretty much unwatchable basketball. I’ve seen soccer games with less flopping. The teams of the 80s would eat these guys alive. Yawn.
Omg I can't believeeeeee the knicks choke job 20 point lead squandered in 3 plus minutes. Ball went up off the iron like 8 feet and went in on top of that guy who shot like six 3s even did the reggie miller choke job sign so bumbed
The only way the Knicks are going to win now is if Christopher Mitchell says they suck have no chance. Thunder vs. Pacers final? The ratings are going to be though the roof!
Minnesota focused on attacking the basket first instead of forcing threes and not surprisingly that lead to less turnovers, more half court defense, and a slow, methodical destruction of OKC in the first half. Look at how quickly the Thunder have punished them for taking a few bad shots in the first couple minutes here.
Indy has been the only team in the postseason to stay focused every game and be competitive.
You aren't seeing them get blown out like all of the other teams on their off nights.
OKC probably wins this series but I can see them getting surprised in the Finals.

In the second half they reverted pretty much entirely to the "fire it in there" strategy of no strategy. It worked out because they were hitting the bad shots at a high clip. With just any real game plan and team discipline they could win the next game and have more than a minute chance in the series.
Their coaching staff is trash, and I don't expect any of that to really happen though. It was lol funny watching the bench players come in for the entire fourth and try to play actual basketball.
Go KNicks , townes lit it up in 4th quater with 20 points
A couple things need to happen after the Thunder win game 5 by 20+ - Chris Finch needs fired and the narrative that Edwards is the next big thing and the future face of the league needs to die. This guy is basically Temu Dwyane Wade.
Interesting spot tonight. Indy -2. Been a reoccurring theme these playoffs for team backed up against wall 0-2 to have one game in them before losing game 4.

This is one of the better hypotheticals. If we're going on winning one game or a series I'd take Jokic, Davis, Kawhi, Brown, and Kyrie.
12 alex carusos for 0 dollars 1 chet holgrem and a shai maybe 1 austin reeves
imagine just wave after wave of alex carusos just swarming around literally unstoppable when one gets tired the next 3 alex's show up and we keep shai on the bench just waving towels
