Official: 30-40 percent of ObamaCare IT must be built

Between 30 and 40 percent of the IT system for the federal health insurance marketplace must still be built, a top official at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) said Tuesday.
Henry Chao, the agency’s deputy chief information officer, said that a large portion of the behind-the-scenes work has yet to be finished.
“I think it’s just an approximation, we’re probably sitting somewhere between 60 or 70 percent [completed],” he told the House Energy and Commerce Oversight subcommittee.

I got a reprieve (temporarily) from Obamacare because my health care provider "forgot" (lol) to inform me in time that my plan was being canceled, so I had the option to extend it until February 28.
Obviously I snap-accepted this.
Anyway, I knew that the implementation of Obamacare would be a huge fail, but the comedy of errors thus far has exceeded my expectations by a country mile. The whole thing is really a disaster. I can't believe that they didn't all get together and have an objective look at this whole plan before it started -- website and all. Obama must be kicking himself that he appointed all of these monkeys to manage his signature program. Here he was a relatively popular President, and now he is entering GW Bush territory.
Obama is going to be remembered for being really good at rhetoric but really poor at implementation.

They keep bringing the hits with a whole new level of fail. Now the IRS has the ability to force volunteer fire departments to buy insurance for firemen who work for free or risk being fined. This has a possibility of being a huge problem for places like my hometown that do not have professional fire departments to provide fire coverage.
