I guess they're not 100% sure, and they don't want to put him out as a person of interest and then get sued if they're wrong.

I find the nearest 12 year old when I have a tech problem or occasionally ask sonatine when I have a tech issue and I’m pretty sure his only recommendation has been to just factory reset as he wisely understood that trying to explain something technically complicated to me was a losing proposition akin to betting your 401k on desertrunner winning the next Jeopardy Tournament of Champions.
I’m in the run Forrest run camp, but I have to believe they already know who this kid is and it’s simply a matter of flushing him out. Being a revolutionary sounds fun until the feds start hanging 30 years around your neck for assisting him.
