The sets were piss poor and it was so unrealistic, but I guess many folks like that fantasy approach... I prefer a realistic gangster movie/series.
Perhaps I'm being too harsh, the acting was pretty good. I just zoned out when I saw things like the foundry they always walk past and the outside scenes around the pub, the fire looked terrible.Quote:

Music was pretty good though.
Ya I like that show as well...I ended up using the English sound track for it and it made it worse than reading the subtitles..Marsellie was pretty good also, kept the French audio and read the subtitles (honestly can't remember if it even has an English track)Quote:

Peaky Blinders is well worth seeing out imo. The story lines progress nicely and you will enjoy.
Much of it was filmed in my city and the scenery was pretty decent imo.
Also don't take TV advice from an aussie. He'll have you watching Cell Block H and fucking Neighbours.
