Is there a genuine concern he will be such a horrible Justice that all this obstruction and political attacks are justified? I am genuinely curious. (Mumbles and Sonatine, I already know your answer to the question, so don't bother). But I am interested in the opinion of others who are not ideologues who have done some actual thinking and critical analysis on their own. I admit I haven't.
Or have we reached the point where it is just "game on" and both sides are going to do everything in their power to block every Justice the other nominates on the matter of principle regardless of their qualities as a judge, and we are ok with it?
