Smaller bet, but we'll see what happens.
CFL taking Hamilton -2 vs Toronto Argos.
The starting QB for the Argos went to a Toronto Raptors game and has to quarantine 4 days. Likely not able to play Sunday.
Line opened -2 Toronto so it has already moved.

Claudio Puelles -110
Alonzo Menefield -155
Cheyanne Vlismas (Buys) -175
Dusko Todorovic -155
Darian Weeks +110
Jamahal Hill +160
Leonardo Santos -165
Brad Ridell +110
Jose Aldo +125
Damn. I have Oregon +3. They just dont match up well at all against Utah for whatever reason. Utah is a solid team, but they aren't worldbeaters. They recently lost convincingly to Oregon St. I don't know what it is, but looking like a second completely uncompetitive blowout.
Grizzlies -1.5.
Doncic and Porzingis out. And Grizzlies actually playing well without Morant, including a 70+ point win vs OKC.
San and Daly,
Hope you guys hedged some $$ on Young. He is definitely winning it after this performance.
I had Pitt/WF O75
The game had 42 points in the first 20 minutes and was looking great, and now it has gone 2 quarters with 3 points total. Un-Fucking-Real.
do u guys even know how to gamble? how are u passing up getting a TD or +200 ML
i have some serious potential to be the choke artist of the year. i had futures bets...
suns 100/1
canadiens 50/1
astros 40/1
and now...
michigan 100/1
cincinnati 160/1
Menefield was robbed by the judges, and I don't know how the ref kept letting Guida get pounded by Santos like that in round 1... Still, kudos to Guida for submitting the Brazilian after that onslaught, and bad job to Santos for looking at the ref for a stoppage rather than continuing to pound his opponent into oblivion.
All that being said, UP 1.07 units on the night.
Daly would have loved this Patriots Bills game.
The Weather Channel forecasts just a 9 percent chance of rain or snow, with temperatures only dropping to the mid- or high-30s, but predicts steady and strong winds throughout the afternoon and evening -- regularly above 20 miles per hour. The high-wind warning, in effect until 7 p.m. Eastern, projects southwest winds between 25-35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph. Widespread power outages are also anticipated as a result of the high winds
I did a same game teaser Pats and under but that under has fallen off a cliff. History teaches us the game goes over though. Weather plays are for losers.
Damien Harris of the New England Patriots will have over 49.5 rushing yards
Mac Jones of the New England Patriots will have over 5.5 rushing yards
It’s NFL and I’m just betting small so I can enjoy the car crash aspect of this fully. If a ref throws a flag but it ends up in the stands is it a legit penalty? We will find out
buffalo and the over.
NE +10 Ov 33.5 teaser -140
I had Damien Harris over but many legal books had an anytime Damien Harris TD odds boost and a massive +1000 Damien Harris to score first.
Twinge of jealousy but then I remind myself the state is your betting partner (taxes).
Had to work late, missed putting some action on MNF. Was thinking Patriots +3 -115. Dark times.
Clippers -3.
Going with the "Portland is about to implode" theme.
Edit: For some inexplicable reason I also took Magic +16. Instant regret.
Considered GS -16 tonight, but passed because I hate those lines so wide where trash time sometimes affects it, plus Orlando has played some good teams surprisingly tough lately, even while losing.
GS blew them out by 31.
Oh well.
Funny I haven't made any picks since my 2-0 day last week.
GS was up 18 with about 4 minutes left when both teams put the scrubs in. So could have theoretically gone other way I guess. But GS scrubs crushed them and that was that. GS actually has 2 rookies (Kuminga and Moody) that were fairly high draft picks that aren't in the regular rotation. They both came in and played well at the end. Between these 2 guys and Wiseman, GS actually has assets that a rebuilding team might actually want to flip for a good player if they choose to go that route. I am guessing they want to see what they have with Klay integrated back in before deciding what to do.
Hard to think of who it could be though. It would be a versatile wing who can defend multiple positions and shoot 3's good for end of game lineup of death situations. And since Simmons doesn't shoot 3's at all and his skill set is too redundant with Greens he doesn't make sense.
Celtics +3
I had Celtics +2.5, based on the LAL LOL home spread thing. Despite getting my money in worse, I lost the same as you guys.
I had Celtics too, and watched most of the game.
It was a layup line for James and Westbrook all game. Didn't realize Celtics interior defense was so bad.
Also, Tatum shot real well but the rest of the team all had an off shooting day at once. It is what it is, we move on.
I guess we learned the Celtics are legit bad. I heard Shak say “Celtics stink” at halftime. Shoulda listened
Every idiot is fascinated with Curry shooting 16 3’s and breaking record tonigh @ home vs some awful team.
Where there are idiots I can’t be far behind it would appear.
Dell Curry did it right (kinda) by marrying another athlete. This enabled him to have highly athletic sons, one of whom ended up being substantially better than him. Sonya Curry was a college athelete and good at several sports. Usually when athletes marry a hot chick, they don't bother to think of how it will dilute their genes, and that their sons may not follow in their footsteps. I wonder if Dell had this in mind when he married Sonya.
Unfortunately the whole thing came crashing down when she cheated on him, and this year they separated, as was already discussed out here.
But not much chance that a mediocre NBA player like Dell would have produced a freak like Steph if he hadn't married another athlete.
It will probably take 3-4 games before he makes 16 more 3's. I peeked at the schedule and Best case scenario for the narrative is he does it in 4 games at Knicks in what I assume will be a nationally televised game. Worst (and statistically most likely scenario) is he does it Monday night at Pacers opposite MNF in a game no one will be watching.
There is actual discussion about the record today. There may even be some bet boosters surrounding the matter.
The chart I posted was apparantly leaked
I have no intention of touching any NBA today but I just found the wagering stupidity topical to our thread.
Rangers +145
Dallas +120
need one for a profitable day. No starting goalies yet so am gambling a bit......
I had your stupid Leafs PL. They were leading 5-1 against the hapless Blue Jackets. I checked my balance late last night and couldn’t figure out why I lost. I subsequently submitted a request for a wagering vacation day today. It was denied.
I autobet the dog Vancouver yesterday vs Bruins. I wanted some Ro Ro exposure. Always hopeful for a breakout. Marchand back. Swayman vs Demko. Demko has been really good this last month but against mid tier teams admittedly. Bruins should be -200. They were -138 and are now -129. Tells you a lot.
I’ll look at those two ideas of yours.
I love Dallas. Haven’t bet yet, just saying. Remember they were the under team? Not any more. People are waking up but I still think they are a stealth offensive story.
Kuemper confirmed. I’m about to do something AVs. I am looking at props like Nadeem Kadri SOG but my props suck. 4 +106. That’s not right, man. 3.5 -120 would be a hammmer. I’m missing out on NHL prop $. I need to fix that
Player props here are hit and miss.
I started into them then they removed them. Or put them up late, or have them up and pull the rug.
As long as you are posting I’ll try to participate as well
I can’t find anything. I have an attitude problem. I’m not willing to take small edges. Not willing to gamble. Hard to explain.
I took a little more Canucks vs Bruins.
Navy +7½ -115 for Game
Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors will score over 6.5 three point field goals +100
Embarrassing ploppy pick.
I think a real NBA gambler would ladder this ex: 7/7.5/8
As I explore this I see the line is moving and it ends at 8…. faggot ploppy props on BOL….
I hate to lay so many points with the Suckramento Kings, but it is the Magic on the road...
Sacramento -7.5 vs. Orlando
Yep. I had this bet too. Up 13 with 2 minutes left and then allow 3 pointer, turnover, and 3 point play, and disaster.
Edit: Tristan Kardashian bailed us out at the end, but man that was a brutal sweat at the end.
