I don't really see there being some big push for people to not assimilate. I think this is largely a bugaboo. You haven't actually pointed out to how this is working in practice? My grandmother went to church that was taught in German and people weren't up in arms about multiculturalism back then. So.. it isn't clear at all. Why is that different?
