Boston under was blown out by the 4th inning.
Toronto up 5-0 on Minnesota.
Detroit under is 0-0 in the 9th.... and that's the one Daly chose to oppose in his chalk pick.

Embarrassing day for PFA all around.

Okay, but I do like this late pick.
San Diego (Lauer) +149 at San Francisco (Samardzija)
Lauer got BOMBED in his ML debut.... but it was at Coors Field.
He actually has good minor league numbers, and is considered to have decent upside.
Samardzija sucks. He's had one good start, one bad start, but overall is pretty much crap.
SF is also a little banged up and has a career reserve and minor leaguer in the 7-8 spots tonight.
When your under 8.5 game tied 0-0 in the 9th is in moderate danger of losing...
:what
Twins actually had a chance.
They forged back to 6-5. They entered the 9th down 7-5, but had 2nd and 3rd with 2 out, before a flyout ended it.
Go Padres (who are down 3-1).
Looked over NBA series today.
Mostly a LeBron hate bet

Celtics appeared to win comfortably tonight. I didn’t watch.
I thought long and hard about them. They were +440 this afternoon and I ultimately took a pass. It was an interesting price
Having made that decision, I then decided to skip Celts +4 at home. I just couldn’t fathom the matchups. Horford especially on defense.
I rarely look back on a bet not made but this got me. I was close.
Brad Stevens. The amazement just doesn’t quit.
Ugh.
Padres up 5-3 in the 9th, get two outs with one runner on, and now Brad Hand is melting down.
Now 5-4 with runners on 1st and 3rd.
Edit: Now bases loaded.
If they don't get Hand out, they are going to lose this game. But they're not going to because managers hate hooking their closers.
I hate sitting here helpless watching this happen.
Praying for the out too
SAN DIEGO PADRES AT SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS [BATTER PROPS] RUN LINE GIANTS +1.5
Edit
Sorry man
Yup... knew it.
Brad Hand gives up a single to Nick Hundley, 2 runs come home, game over.
Just fucking brutal lately. Big swing for me on a +149 bet, too.
Nothing like having a 2-run lead with 2 outs in the 9th with a guy on first, and losing without even going to extras.
9th inning has been awful for me this year. When I have a chance to come back, I lose. When I have a chance to lose, I usually lose.
:gay
The 1 game I did win today was 0-0 in the 9th, under 8.5.
Even there I had to fade a walkoff HR which would have beat me. I faded it, but can you imagine ever having to sweat an under 8.5 when it's 0-0 in the 9th?
You can always fade Kershaw for that bankroll booster tomorrow
Lot of
Tonight
Newcomb for Atlanta will be a household name in 2 yrs Max as a elite pitcher. Oh I almost forgot hes a Lefty and +160 Tonight.
Take Atl or Under
Newcomb was pushed back to Wednesday. Mike Soroka is making his MLB debut tonight instead. He's likely even more talented than Newcomb but is making his MLB debut against Thor on the road though so bet at your own risk.
Interestingly enough with Soroka's promotion the Braves now have the 3 youngest players in MLB with Acuna, Soroka, and Albies.
Tonight:
at Washington -1.5 (Scherzer) -110 vs. Pittsburgh (Kuhl)
Atlanta (Soroka) +167 at Mets (Syndergaard)
Dodgers (Kershaw) at Arizona (Koch) - Under 7.5
More:
Toronto (M. Estrada) at Minnesota (Gibson) - Under 9 -120
Philadelphia (Eflin) at Miami (Jarlin Garcia) - Under 8.5 +100
Chalk parlays are for Saturday and Sunday afternoon entertainment only. I was simply making an observation that there is a lot of chalk on the board tonight.
Not much going on in Prop land right now. I've had the occasional K's prop butsince BOL entered the marketplace lines have improved.
I've been doing ok with "total bases" props treating it as an extension of my chalk parlay formula.
The ML swings on the Dodgers today are breathtaking
220–>170–>205
I’ve been doing naughty and very un-chalky things.
Despite my epic struggles over the past week (a mixture of some bad picks and some really bad luck), today is looking good... so far.
But things can change quickly.
Atlanta has pounded out 13 hits... but has only 3 runs, all scored in the first. And somehow injured Cespedes cracked a solo HR, so the Braves only lead 3-1 in what should be a blowout. I really need this one, given that it's +167. Entering top of the 8th.
Washington -1.5 is a huge blowout and will cover for sure.
Philly/Miami under is 1-1 in the 8th, and barring some late-inning ridiculousness (which sadly I've been plagued by in this season's first month), that should cover.
Min/Tor under is 2-0 in the 4th, so that's ahead of pace, though can clearly go either way.
If everything can hold, that will be 4-0, with the Dodgers about to start.
