Philly can technically make the playoffs, though now it's looking less likely, as they're 4.5 behind the Cards, and 3 behind the Braves. The NL is weird, as there are 3 really good teams (Dodgers, Giants, Brewers), and then a huge group of mediocre teams which will barely finish over .500, and two of those will make the postseason. The wildcard game featuring one of those teams against either the Dodgers or Giants (hopefully the Giants) will be a tragedy if the lesser team wins.Quote:

That Angels game was just awful. They blew a 2-run 8th inning lead, and then blew scoring chances TWICE in extras, where they had an easy path to get the walkoff run home from 90 feet.
Bases loaded nobody out, needing one run, and they can't do it. Just brutal. Once the 12th began, I knew they were going to lose.
