Ohtani crossing home from 3rd puts Angels up 5-4. I was thinking if there was a play at the plate and the catcher hurt Ohtani - that catcher would be dealing with death threats from several countries
How many times am I gonna get screwed in the 8th/9th?

Then KC gets leadoff man on in 9th and bounces into double play.
Now a 4-pitch walk and they run themselves out of the inning with a caught-stealing.

We had the Phillies yesterday at -105 and today I am coming directly back with them at +105 . Arrieta vs Archer . So lets break this down . Two quality pitchers . Arrieta on his second start of the season had a solid first outing . So if we stack them up I see no advantage here on either side pitching wise. So that leaves this game in the hands of the guys at the plate. Advantage Phillies. Fielding Advantage Phillies . Streak Advantage Phillies .
So take the Phillies on the +105 Side
Game two for 4-14-18 Again riding streaks and laying a decent number here . Pirates -160 vs Marlins. Is there any worse franchise then the Marlins? Pirates are off to a good start in a weak division and have been putting up good run support for there pitching staff. On the flip side the Marlins have lost 3 in a row and wins are going to be very hard to come by for them this year. I have no problem laying 160 to win 100 in this spot.
Last but not least is my first total wager for the MLB season so while looking at the lines on the overnight I found a little nugget of good information Toronto vs Cleveland is sitting at a total of 7 runs and the under is juiced at -120 . Now normally a good rule of thumb in baseball is go under on the lowest game total of the day and go over the highest total for the day . Yet I saw something in the lines that says OVER 7 in this spot .

Yeah, following me on sports wagering is a good way to go broke. I’m simply in the Toronto almost always loses game 1 and Miami *might* jump on a bunch of kids ride if you give me 5-1. I don’t know what to expect out of Philly in their first playoff game in forever, hence the no straight bet. I think they’ll either ride the crowd or choke. Hardly any in between.

Any other team I might agree against Toronto . The Wizards are realistically the worst of the worst. Also they do not match up at all against the Raptors. I am not wagering on this game simply cause I have a severe dislike for both teams but I did see the line at 8 and thought that's a gift for the Raptors. As far as Miami goes its all hype from the talking heads that has kept this line around 6.5---7 . Philly is riding a 16 game winning streak and I do not care who you play something is going correct for them . Miami also does not match up well at all with the Sixers . So If I was forced to wager on these games I would be laying the points in both . I 99% never wager on fixed lines in the NBA . I usually wait for the dog to get a lead and get a better price In Play.
With all the sports going on today and tomorrow there are much better spots to play then these 2 games

Jordan Hicks (who I did draft on my fantasy team, at Willie's suggestion) made me sweat. Loaded 'em up in the 9th in a 6-1 game, but wiggled out of it.
Spurs getting killed, so at least fouling won't be a factor in the 4th. Hopefully they keep it under 57 in 4Q.
