FTR the reason why Flynn is out is because the democrats are scamming POS. Trying to save face for their party and careers and families they had to go with the Russia hacked the election story. From what I've read. All's they and the NYT have got. Are sources stating Trump's team were in communication with Russian Intelligence.
But Aides of two countries talking with each other during an election is not against the rules. And nobody can prove that Trump's Aides "new' the Russkies they were communicating with were Intelligence Agents.
This is basically a semi bluff which is only intended to keep Trump's link with Russia on the table.
