Very nice. Most Jersey books moved Grace to +5000.

Very nice. Most Jersey books moved Grace to +5000.
Little lesson in counterparty risk here. I have a new sunwager out that I can get 300/27000 on. I’m “only” taking 100/9000.
I’m fairly sure it would be imposible to get this guy to cough up 27K in the first month.
After doing some digging and finding out it went off at +5000 or worse it just gives this guy more Ammo to say “fuck you it was a bad line”.
Grace May very well miss the cut and we can talk about how stupid a bet it was. That said look at the caliber of golfer they have listed from 50-1 and down and tell me Grace, who just won a tournament less than a month ago, is 90-1?
I like him at 60-1. 90-1 is a great price.
Got some other longish shot action down.

Last minute (my internet has been down):
Portland vs. Detroit - Over 221.5
Here's another, for 4:35pm PDT:
Houston at Brooklyn - Under 229
Wall out, Wood is playing
I'm monitoring the Suns/Bulls situation. LaVine may not play, and Coby White is also questionable. If LaVine doesn't play, I'm probably firing on the Suns, because the Bulls will likely be pretty awful.
Not a great start on my two picks. The Houston under has been a disaster in the 1st, and the Portland over saw only 103 in the first half, though it's a very close game, so fouling crap in the 4th has a chance to save this one, or even OT.
Portland over hit, though it gave me a small scare. Needed just 2 points to hit with 1:45 left. Lock, right? Took another minute for scoring to happen.
Final total 225.
:yes
Houston scoring has slowed down a lot and it's right on pace for the total, so this one is 50/50.
9 points rained quickly during trash time, but then only 2 more scored in the final 47s, and I squeak by in the Houston under, in a 228-point affair.
I move to 15-3 in my last 18
Go Phoenix!
Looks like I'm not going to cover Phoenix. They had a 14-point lead in the 4th and let a shorthanded Chicago team come back within 3.
Now it's a 5 point game, Bulls ball, with 32s left. Unless fouling BS takes it to 8-9, I'm going to lose this one. I'll be thrilled with a tie.
Well, I had a nice streak going, but I had to lose at some point. Phoenix didn't cover. Still went 2-1, and I'm now 15-4 in my last 19.
Let's focus on some MLB.
I have 2 picks today (so far). Remember these start early:
Texas (Gibson) +140 at Kansas City (Keller)
Philadelphia (Nola) -121 vs. Atlanta (Fried)
Was about to brag about my Rangers pick after that top of the 1st, but...
Nice day for the MLB dogs...
Toronto beat the Yankees, Detroit beat Cleveland's Bieber, and the Pirates are up 5-2 on the Cubs.
Too bad I didn't have any of these. Now I just need another to it -- the Rangers.
How do you shut down that Braves lineup for 6 innings and give up a HR to Pablo Sandoval?!
Ugh.
2-2 tie in Philly
Also, Rangers trying to run up the score again, bases loaded no out.
8-7 in the 3rd in the Rangers/Royals game.
Anyone have over 14 in first 3 innings?
Sitting on two ties, 8-8 in the 4th and 2-2 in the 9th.
Here's some NBA.
Brooklyn vs. Charlotte - Under 222.5 (Harden out, Griffin out, Ball out)
Clippers vs. Denver - Under 219 (George out, Morris questionable)
Well another nickel donated to the Tony Finau sponsored addition to the William Hill home office. Yes, that is one fairway hit all day. He actually still could of got in at even or -1, but drove it out of bounds on 17.
J Ko I think we’ll be live. Gonna need her one more time for old times sake.
Well done WH with that +1600 bait. Hook line and sinker. Time for me to go to bed.
Regardless of what happens in this Braves/Phillies game, the runner on 2nd in extras thing is so lame.
10-8 Royals now in the 4th. Insane.
I actually make a lot of small favorite picks in MLB. What I tend to avoid are the ploppy big favorite picks, though I think there might be some value in the -1.5 variety in certain spots when it gets to midseason.
I liked how Nola looked at the end of spring training, and felt he was going to outpitch Fried, which he ended up doing (though Fried wasn't bad). Nola whiffed 14 in his last 9 spring innings pitched, and 6 of those innings were against a Yankees squad resembling the one which would be playing during the regular season. Phillies were at home, which is a bigger advantage in close matchups, because extra innings now favors the home team even more, thanks to the man-on-2nd bullshit. That was actually the factor today.
Anyway the Royals won 14-10 over the Rangers (lol), so that pick lost. Pretty sad to lose a pick where you have a 5-0 lead and your team scores 10 runs, but that's what happened. The Rangers even had a good shot to get ahead late in the game when it was 10-9 Royals, and they had first and third with one out.
So I'm starting off down 0.176 units in MLB to begin the season.
The NBA continues to go well, as the Nets under easily covered by over 20 points, and the Clips under is looking good after 1Q.
This was on March 18, a day I took off after going into a 2-11 slump following the All Star break.
Nicky wouldn't have done well fading me since then.
I started off 1-2 after his post, from March 19-20.
After that, from March 21 through today, I'm 16-4 in the NBA, with one still playing right now.
Hopefully Nicky was just trying to motivate me badguy style, and wasn't actually fading these picks.
Clips were way behind, and scoring slowed, so this looked like a LOCK, despite a mediocre first half which put it right on pace for 219 or so.
Unfortunately now it's a 3-point game, so it's a stone cold LOCK with no OT, but now OT is on the table. It's actually doing well enough (179 points with 3:19 left) to where it could still win in OT, but I don't want to have to sweat that.
I'll post MLB for now, NBA coming later.
White Sox (Keuchel) +102 at Angels (Heaney)
Seattle (Kikuchi) -114 vs. San Francisco (Cueto)
Note that Kikuchi has added speed to his fastball, and has thrown in a new cutter this year. He looked really good in the spring, and it should be noted that despite a pretty bad 2020, one bright spot was only allowing 3 HR in 47 IP. He had allowed 36 in 161 IP the year before! Cueto, on the other hand, looks close to done.
MYBOOKIES does not offer KBO lines? Who does? I bet KBO on 5dimes last year before they went away for US and some on bookmaker. I have a roll on MB now and a big Gonzaga ticket pending, not trying to deposit elsewhere
Tonight I like TB RAYS -110
Yarborough and the Rays own Miami. Check the stats and recent history.
I did not face you Druff other than the one game I posted, which you won! Have been busy with “life” and hard to monitor this thread and when you post picks, etc. might fade your Sox pick tonight and take angels will confirm here if I do. Agree Mariners look good but not a play yet for me
Last minute NBA
Golden State vs. Toronto - Under 219 (Curry, Lowry OUT)
Not-so-last-minute NBA, but still soon:
New York vs. Dallas - Under 212.5
Minnesota vs. Memphis - Over 232
Milwaukee vs. Portland - Over 240.5 (this one not starting for a few hours)
Coulda gotten a better line on White Sox (right now it's +111 or better, I got +103). Appears Vegas thinks White Sox are losing tonight. Hopefully they're wrong.
If someone told me that GS would have 59 points in the mid-4th, I'd call that under bet a complete LOCK.
Unfortunately, Toronto has 119, in what is one of the biggest NBA leads ever.
60 point game, y'all.
I actually considered Toronto -5.5! LOL
Anyway, my under is going to be determined by trash time, though I'm on pace to win at the moment.
Well, with 48s left, it's 128-77.
Looks like I will win the under easily unless the Warriors score 51 points in 48 seconds to take it to OT. Well, or if they combine for 16 points in trash time.
2-0 already in the NBA today.
Minnesota over is going to be close.
The Portland game hasn't started yet.
If I could go 4-0, this would put a cherry on top of one of my best runs ever in the NBA.
