wtf claudia gassed in the first, this just got interesting
fight was f'n AWESOME. assume claudia first 2, JJ last 3.
hope these scores aren't batshit either way.
Judges got it right as in who won but not sure about 10-8 rounds, especially the 48-45 scorecard.
Great fight
pretty much everyone had rd 4 as 10-8. i didnt personally but i think its appropriate.
The best chance for Claudia would be if Joanna drops that belt at some point to get a third fight with her in a three round battle where she would have won tonight and nearly did in the first fight.
IMO no matter what training Claudia does she will gas herself out again with all the take downs because that is how she has to fight in order to win since she don't have a chance trading punches in stand up with Joanna.

I guess it's not that bad it's just they hand out 10-8 rounds with such inconsistency.
so, i felt strongly that claudia adrenaline dumped in the first.
but.
i think she exposed how bad johannas td is, i think she exposed how sketchy her chin is.
no one else in the division can fuck with either of them of course but johanna got her card pulled for 10 straight minutes. claudia was very close to koscheck'ing her way to round 3 and in doing so, getting herself a belt.
dave hagen might be legit retarded.
Saw Thiago and his boys in the elevator of Monte Carlo where I am staying. Also passed by Buffer with his limp
I like Cain Velasquez and Cat Zingano parlay for tonight. It's +119 atm on Bovada.
i cant fire on a post-USADA cain but i have zingano on a ton of other parlays.
Stuck in airport. Hope I can make it home by 8 pm eastern so I don't miss much of the fights.
I have Cain in a parlay, but the price heads up is too much for me. I will say though, while I do agree on the post-USADA Cain question marks as well as the injuries, I also can't bet on a fighter that's coached by Edmond. Browne looked like absolute dogshit in his last "win" vs Mitrione in Boston.
I might even take a flyer on the draw in that one and hope Travis Browne pulls out the Three Stooges eye pokes again.
make no mistake, travis is the fucking worst and anything touching edmond is a superfail out the gate, but yeah i mean, i feel like we are going to see the first of many 'showing up for a paycheck' style losses from cain soon.
My final card
Gastelum 9pm 3 units
Zingano 9:30 3 units
Silva 11:30 1 unit
Hunt 11:55 5 units
Tate 12:30 5 units
on top of tonight's parlay, I've got these in so far.
Northcutt by TKO/KO +135
Gastelum by TKO/KO +550
Mousasi representin PERSIANS well
Excited for this card
Taking Marin +300. He said Sage is overrated lol. public big on Sage
TJ Dillashaw, I am almost certain, might be into dudes
Anyone have a link?
Damn Zingano. Their is a reason I rarely will ever bet on a broad in mma and I got that reminder tonight.
no one could have predicted pena would come back from an injury that horrific that well. that was a belt-worthy showing on the ground.
Cain is still a monster even though I've never been sold on Browne. His kicks surprised me a bit.
What could be the real main event is up next with Edgar/Aldo.
I agree.
From a discipline standpoint it was a work of art by Aldo. He didn't need to be flashy to win he just needed to be smart by picking Edgar apart without taking any risks like throwing his big leg kicks that could get caught since Edgar was going to be well prepared for them.
Edgar was once the top guy at 155 and Aldo makes his punches look like he has no business fighting at 145.
a little drunk, a little stoned, a bunch of killer fighters seen, a few still to be seen...
this show is so much goddamn fun. what a killer few days, esp with the Jones drug bullshit soap opera.
i love mma.
Silva to win by White rigging then will fight Bisbing for the title.
Or he dies in the ring.
Hmm yeah I commend Silva for bailing out giving DC an opponent I don't think Silvas gonna fair too well. He's already never gone past 1 rnd in his 205 fights and he likely isn't in close to decent shape after being laid up for 6 weeks. Silvas cardio is a potential major issue. DC never loses if he gets two takedowns and he's got one already. If Silva makes it the distance it's a moral victory
2nd takedown 30sec into rnd 2
Holy Christ 128 strikes for DC 18 for Silva. It's a rout.
These fans are so disrespectful when their frustration should be with Jon Jones. What really did they expect from this fight?
The UFC could have just kept DC from fighting or saved money by hiring this guy for $300 to replace Jon Jones:

Dana has a strict 1 WWE wrestler per card limit. Side note. I'm begining to completely believe Dana And Vince are in business together in some way since they just hyped a fake fight of Lesnar coming up and the WWE2k17. Maybe that was Vince's price to borrow Brock.
A few times in this fight I get this feeling Brock Lesnar wanted to WWE style body slam Mark Hunt.
