That Clippers finish was bizarre.
They fouled their way to 119-117, to clinch the tie for me with 7 seconds. Then the second free throw by Washington was missed, and Washington got the ball back. NOBODY FOULED and just let the Wizards dribble it out with 2 seconds.
:wtf2
This should've been a win, instead it's a tie.
NY under lost.
Milwaukee blew a big lead and is now up by 1, which won't cut it.
Russell Westbrook has regressed as a shooter more than any player in NBA history, 7-15 from the FT line, shooting in the high 50%s for the season. Never seen anything like it. How can someone shot 80% for ten years then start shooting FTs like Shaq? BTW he still basically dominated the game.
Well.
It was 120-98 with 38 seconds left, and this GS under looked like it was tying at best.
Then the final score was.... 120-98.
Finally a good break.
1-2-1 day though.
FCGU -2.5
NBA Allstar game under 317.5
Ignore the reasons, just do it
-last year 312 points same format
-Last quarter, the team who is leading + 24 pts is the final score. Last year only 55 pts in the 4th quarter and only due to a comeback. Could be much lower.
-lots of players not giving a single shit this year and barely want to be there
-some players involved with skills or 3 point competition which is BEFORE the game. (Doncic, Paul, Vucevic, Randle, Curry, Tatum ,etc)
-embiid and Simmons are out (one less sub per team).
EDIT
Also took Paul + Doncic (both around +230) to win the skills. They got a buy to the semifinals (on opposite sides of the bracket). Other guys who have the extra round could definitely be a little tired from going all out round 1. One of the two (or both) should make the final, making it a +EV bet
YOU'RE WELCOME>
Rory is the worst best player in the world ever.
Not giving a shit usually equates to no defense. Right?
Laziness & sloth equals no defense.
What is this 24 point final quarter deal? If the spread is >24 the game is called due to lack of interest? If that’s true I’m smelling an under. These guys don’t care to ward off going home early
Lol, old Blake Griffin to Nets. I can’t wait for playoffs
:fail
i mean if #6 today doesnt sum up the rory experience lately i dont know what does...
1st tee ball.......wet
2nd tee ball........wet
3rd tee ball...dry
approach from 250, stuffed to like 3'...one putt double, which should have been an eagle..
question with him is not if he's gonna shit himself, but when and how badly...

Yup, had him too Daly. Not much to say. Same shit, different day. He’ll win once I jump off him. I kind of knew it was a bit of fools Gold on the Thursday 66. Christ his iron and wedge game is just awful right now. Proximity to the hole just so bad. But the guy can just get in a groove out of nowhere. The most infuriating low odds guy to take by far.
Felt like the smartest guy in the room when he led round 1. Even cashed a ticket or two on it but really thought the tournament was well within reach. As it turns out was just super lucky he ran hot.
Three I like for the players
Hideki owes me one. It was one year ago he shot the course record on day one and ducking asshole Rory bitched he wanted to go home so they shut down the tournament. All they had to do was finish round 2 and it would have been official and my 30-1 tickets would have cashed. He’s got a history here which is a major factor here (with the exception of when my homeboy SW Kim won at 500-1). +3300 I’m in
JT shouldn’t be +2000 here.
And I can’t believe I’m going to do this but Jordan has been in the top 3 of every tournament he’s played in the last few weeks. He has a history of doing well here. +3000 is a bit of a steal.
hey daly and jeff...
heres what i was looking at matchup wise...got lazy and should have posted yesterday so prices have moved against me...
i said i'd never bet on or against rory again, but i just cant help myself...
JT -102 v rory
DJ -134 v rory
rahm -142 v bryson...this was -120 and has moved bigly...i just do not think this is the course that really fits bryson's brute force, drive it somewhere loooooooong and find it...you can get yourself in trouble if you aren't accurate at sawgrass...
morikawa -112 v bryson...
X -102 v webb...im always a sucker for X at short odds...
X -102 v cantlay...
finau -164 v jordan...want to but just dont think i can at that price...
reed -152 v fleetwood...same deal...
Betanysports is down?? I can’t log in anybody else?
Right now I’m just caught in between and just can’t get the timing right. Rory and Tommy have really cost me since I’ve been doing this. A lot of exposure on that Irish (sort of) prick last week and that 6th hole was a real kick to the gut. I’m late to the party this week. Plan on getting all my bets in late tonight.
I haven’t bet this week yet other than Hideki. I think you have three solid outright plays here. Hideki for sure after getting fucked after the first round last year.
JT is a guy I always say I’m happy to put my money on. The sponsorship stuff with Ralph Lauren and then the death really seem to shake him up for a bit, but he showed signs of coming out of it the week before last. Great value at +2000. I love the play the more and more I have thought about it.
Jordan I am going to shop apps and see if I can get him at 30-1 or so. There is no doubt with him being constantly in contention that he will eventually have a decent enough Sunday to get it done.
The guy I know I’m going to throw in now is Webb Simpson (+2200). Really solid and dependable to be around (and in decent spot)for the weekend. Been playing well for a while now. I can see him putting things together. Not in love with the value but at least validates others are having similar thoughts.

I heard the NBA is back.
San Antonio +150 at Dallas (all starters and almost all reserves BACK in the lineup on both sides)
San Antonio/Dallas - Over 226.5
FYI the books REALLY don't want you betting over on this game, as they've jacked the line up 3 points yesterday and 4 more today. So on the one hand, you're getting a 7 point worse line than the opening, which I know makes badguy23 and chinamaniac cringe.
On the other hand, I still feel this one is going over.
If you haven't bet the above picks, I wouldn't at this point.
LaMarcus Aldridge, who I believed would play tonight, has quit the Spurs. I kid you not.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/l...iggest-losers/
He and the Spurs have agreed to "part ways". He has had a hard time getting along with coach Popovich. Aldridge hasn't been particularly good lately, so these bets aren't toast, but I would have much rather had him in the lineup. However, I will say that the Spurs have done better without him starting than with him starting, so there's that.
Westbrook Triple Double +145
Russ is the type of guy that will be super fuckin pissed that he wasn't part of the all-star game festivities. That shit has been eating at him for days. Easy money.
I'm going with the 1q under play today and tomorrow.
u56.5 spurs vs mavs
u61 wiz vs griz
may bet over in the games live depending on how 2nd quarter looks.
Covered DJ as well in case he gets back to God Mode. Price has been steady at +1200, so he’s probably not lighting the place up on the practice rounds. I do think there is something to him playing poorly when he’s paired with Brooks. Regardless if I brick this, it’s going to be another expensive weekend.
GL.
Interestingly, Alridge's departure only moved the line 0.5 for the Mavs, and the total actually stayed about the same, and in fact slightly moved up (it's 227 at some books now).
Hmmm.
Spurs had a 7 point lead at the half. They chunked it off in the 3rd, and are melting down.
Yeah bad 4th quarter and both bets lose, despite the over looking good and the Spurs looking 50-50.
:fail
Had a local move JT to +2300.
If he goes on to win I’m going to buy a Escalade.

Anyone sweating the Golf I think PGA Tour Live is free this week on Prime. JT, Rory, Hovland & Webb are on there now. You see basically every shot of 2 morning featured groups and same in the afternoon.
OK STATE +3.5
Covered 6 straight, beat WVU without best player, get another key guy back
I’m going to be optimistic (for as long as you can betting golf) and hoping they look at this is an opportunity. I would hate myself if I bet on Rory again. I just wish I had the foresight to fade him as well. X is pretty baffling to play this bad.
Looks like the guys hanging around even par for the morning wave will be in decent shape.
JT and Webb both fighting. Looking to post 71/72.
covering the board with 1st quarter unders again today. Hopefully goes better than yesterdays 0-1-1 result
Big slate of games today, but I can't find much I like.
There's only this one:
Boston +121 at Brooklyn (Durant out, Griffin out)
This is a reverse Trapper John pick. The ploppies all love Brooklyn here.
Okay, since I'm betting against the ploppies tonight, I'll go with them on another one.
Orlando is getting back Aaron Gordon tonight. Good? Not exactly. He hasn't played in awhile, and is being kept to "very limited minutes". In addition, the Magic are missing Ennis, Fournier, Anthony, Isaac, Fultz, and Ross. While the Heat are down Meyers Leonard (for being an anti-Semite) and Bam Adebayo (knee injury), they're in much better shape overall.
Most importantly, due to the shorthandedness of the Magic, and the return of Gordon, several players will be in positions they're not used to playing. It will be a mess.
Miami -9 vs. Orlando
This made me :lol3
Not the shit you want to say when your team is owned by a guy known for Jewish philanthropy.
Not much of a suspension. He was already out for season. Only reason they haven’t cut him is the hope to use his salary as filler in a trade. Arison is actually catching a lot of heat(no pun intended) locally for not already cutting him.
I have Brooklyn -2.5 tonight. Not shocking I’m on the ploppy side. Small bet just for a little sweat to watch.
