Yesterday morning, 16 minutes after the Commmerce Dept released the record 33% decline in GDP Trump got on Twitter and suggested delaying the election.
The election tweet is all anyone talked about from that point on. The economic news disappeared.
That, my friends, is mother-f@#king brilliant news cycle management. I’m serious.

even if you think it's the truth, i am not in love with using a eulogy to make endless political points.
i have always wished obama would be more conscious of how his message is being received by half the country.
he's not intentionally divisive like trump. and i believe he thinks he's doing the right thing, and advancing a message that needs to be told. and maybe he is.
but i think his words often unnecessarily enflame people and, in part, led to this monstrosity that is donald trump. he needs to sometimes try to speak to the average trump voter's concerns too.

Everything sounded on point. Anyone that thinks Biden is going to win by 10 is crazy. The difference is polls are now almost all 50-52 Biden, Trump 42-46. Back with Hillary, they were Hillary 46-39. Just way more undecideds. It’s going to get very close at some point, but reality is Biden may only need 1/3rd of that group to win easily. They aren’t a big group. You either hate Trump or love him for 95% of the country. Biden is almost irrelevant, as they said.Quote:

So you had a lot of people not sold on either. This is why it’s not a done deal necessarily, because they are asking h2h. There are no real third parties even in the question.
So you really don’t know. Trump pulled off a statistical miracle to win by under 1% in every crucial state. The odds of losing the national vote by 3 million and winning is incredibly improbable. He can’t fade a 1% swing in multiple states. Nothing Hillary won is even in doubt. So it’s uphill, but about the only thing that CNN show tells you is if you can buy Trump in somewhere like Ohio for .60, it’s likely a very good bet. If he loses there he got destroyed.
As far as the general, he needs to run perfect perfect again. Certainly possible, but he’s a slight dog for a reason. No one voted Hillary and now Trump. If a few people voted Trump and now flip, and seniors are polling 20% joes way from Hillary, he’s toast. He needs a very good few months, but he pulled a miracle last time, and his people will show, so anything is possible.
There are rumors Biden will not debate Trump, over "Trump's lies". Obviously it's really because he has deteriorating cognitive issues so they want to keep him in the basement.Quote:
