tine thinking Bloomberg is a mortal lock to beat Trump heads up may be the worst take i’ve seen on the internet, PERIOD.

Very possible going into Super Tuesday we have Sanders, Pete, Klobuchar, Biden, Bloomberg, and Warren all still in and picking up their share of delegates. On March 4th, 38% of delegates will have already been awarded. This is a much higher share than previous years when fewer states voted on Super Tuesday, and states like California and Texas were near the bottom. Also, Dems award delegates proportionally, unlike the GOP where it's winner take all for every state. In this scenario I don't see how anybody gets to a majority of delegates. And under this fractured scenario it actually gives candidates even less incentive to drop out, since even if they can't get to a majority, picking up additional delegates will let them wield more power at the convention.
In fact, if the GOP awarded delegates proportionally like the Dems do, Trump would not have gotten to a majority in 2016.
and again i cant stress this enough 👏everyone👏loves👏bloomberg👏compared👏to👏these👏burger s
The whole appeal he has to many people is that he doesn't read the room.
He sticks to what he thinks is right, no matter how crazy or unpopular it is. He lucked into the fact that there's a socialist left trend among many in the Democratic Party nowadays (especially young people), so here he improbably is, at age 78 (79 at election time), somehow the frontfrunner.
But what's good about Bernie is also what's bad about Bernie. He lacks the ability to adjust, and is way too much of an idealogue.
He's going to stubbornly stick to his talking points, and will live or die with them. Even the right agrees he's authentic. But being authentic in your support for crazy ideas isn't a good thing.
He's going to get clobbered by Trump once swing voter America fully realizes the radical nature of his plans.
Also, Mayor Pete's lack of authenticity is going to catch up with him soon.
People are increasingly waking up to this, and once his narrative changes from "nice, intelligent folksy gay guy who wants to end politics as usual" to "slick, shifty politician who won't answer any tough question directly", the shine is going to wear off, much like it did for Warren.
Warren had bigger problems, because she also had a consistent trail of lies (new and old) following her around, but I think Pete's going to fade soon enough when it's generally acknowledged that he's a phony.
bernie down to $71 now. thats the lowest ive seen him in a long, long time. i really dont get this.
Take it with a grain of salt, but Nate updated his model. "No majority" now up to 33%.
again, this will all be academic when Bernard curb stomps everyone in Nevada and takes SC thereafter.
Since we're obviously living in a game show simulation and not a real world, we'll probably see something like this from the game-show writers this season:
Pete wins Iowa, Bernie wins NH, Klobuchar wins Nevada for shits and giggles, Biden wins SC, and then Bloomberg wins a handful of states on super tuesday. And then come convention time....
the democrats are just so bad that "other" is surging. klobuchar and Bloomberg are scoring massive "everybody is terrible so I guess I will take them" votes or polling responses. and get this, guess who is leading at predictit for VP: Nina Turner. no clue who that is

The guy’s name is Jon Ralston. The reporter he references I missed her name.
I haven’t dug. It’ll be there is the morning
Democrats have forsaken the unions and now they hear a guy who threatens a pretty good health package
It’s not like you or I. We bop from company to company and each has a different carrier. We don’t pick our carrier. We have no choice.
Unions fight for that shit. Bernie best tread lightly
The people you are talking about may not vote Bernie in the primary, but will all show up to vote Dem in the general, even if it is for a card-carrying, dead-beat, dying Socialist, who didn't pay his child support, and has never worked a day in his entire life.
Bloomberg isn't stealing any votes from Trump. He is the poor man's Trump. Lots more money, but a small percentage of the charisma, sense of humor, and "political outsider" anti-establishment feel that carries Trump.
The chickens are coming home to roost in the Democratic party, they are stuck between a socialist and a billionaire.
if bernard hasn’t worked a day in his life, then would it be fair to say Trump has worked negative days? Also why are you trying (and failing) to make a moralist argument re bernard vs the pussy grabber with two russian mail order brides in his catalogue? terrible post guy
Klobuchar has no chance, she has shot her load so to speak.
If Bernie Sanders is not the Democratic nominee there will be a revolt and outright war in the Democratic party.

you clearly didn’t pick up on the nuanced inference I was making. There has been a paradigm shift in US politics and people don’t give a fuck about anything you just stated. A reality show billionaire is President; absolutely plausible for a self-identifying socialist to be elected
Yang suspending campaign sucks a bit for NZ since there have been some murmurings of a freedom dividend here.
Him lasting longer to our election campaign or someone else taking it over would have gone a long way to us doing it as an experiment.
Bernie winning and wiping student loans might be enough to sway it happening here as well, and I'm balls deep in that nonsense.
wtf do you do for a living?
Biden, Bernie, Bloomberg, Klobuchar. There's too many Bs in this race. Hard to keep them all straight.
First, sosh media is vile. But I recognize game.
Are Bloomberg’s nerds the only worthy opponents for Trump’s Brad Parscale?
Parscale is now Campaign Mgr and he’s enjoying the spotlight and talking a lot. Is he still sharp? Cambridge Analytica and Facebook style shenanigans probably has to be tempered this time around. No one was watching 2016.
You need the electoral college last second? Few surgical strikes via keyboard. Stone killer.
He’s talking today about conversion rates for rally attendees to lever pulling voters and tracking them with an app. Now there you go. Creepy as fuck but well played.
When my kid moved to NYC she stayed with a Bloomberg IT kid in his downtown tower apt. while she looked for her own place. She described him as brilliant but too trusting. Randoms crashed on his couch enjoying the views. He was paid handsomely by Bloomberg and apparently had no regard for money.
Bloomberg has squadrons of these tattoo’d genius kids.
Bernie prolly has a framed Steve Jobs Time magazine cover from 1982.
Something to think about.
bloomberg terminal is outdated trash, but is the only game in town. With regards to “squadrons of genius kids”, really!? Bloomberg LP is not known to be some incubator of talent. An idiot I know from school got hired as a governance analyst there. Not impressed. He will be exposed in the Nevada debate next week.
LOL BOOMERS
You and I know analysts are just kids waiting for grad school. Flunkies
I’m just free associating.
I hold low regard for Bloomberg. Boomers that age have baggage. Epstein photos and inappropriate chatter that was the norm back then. He may have been a saint. We will see
A fantastic comment from zeroh (somewhat rare, but spot on nontheless):
Quote:
Pete Butigieg is everything the world hates and loathes about America and everything every American voter should hate and loathe about American electoral system: a snarky, slimy, arrogant, opaque, elitist, gender-nebulous, pro-war. pro-1%, pro-corporate, Wall Street booty-licking pig masquerading as some sort of quasi-liberal. He is younger and more marketable edition of Hillary Clinton, only more sinister (if that is even possible), more feminine and less funny.
I have no idea how anyone could find anything appealing, innovative, useful, productive, original, or life-affirming about this character or his message. Everything about him SCREAMS "Status Quo! Status Quo" in your face. He is Aunt Helen's 60-year old yellowed and frayed plastic sofa cover of American politics: an absorbent for the stinky billionaire fart and uncontrollable bowel movement and a useless 1% asswipe.
Wait, I like the status quo
I saw him speaking while the crowd chanted “Wall Street Pete”
Not a hiccup or missed beat. No reaction. Resting pulse rate.
It’s the wrong word but all I thought of was “sociopath”.
He is every gay high school theater kid’s idol as a public speaker.
Lol, Krypt. A young gay Hillary. Only more feminine.
Jesus. That made my night. I’m dying
You have impeccable taste.
