Gonna talk about this tonight on radio.
But yeah... what a joke.

People like Italian accountants... so anytime anyone usues one in a movie or commercial I'm only going to charge 1% payable to me.
:lol2
GTFO of here.... the fucking balls
We make an absolute fucking killing putting on these charades of sportsmanship where backups make $100m and owners own an asset that worth $2B...... but because someone wants to bet on the outcomes of our little circus everyone in the world should give us a 1% cut
:lol2
THE MOTHERFUCKER SAID WITH a STRAIGHT FACE!!!!!
:lol2
Just wait til that non-profit, the NCAA, holds out their hand. You’ll break lol2 out again.
We will never be so close with the 12 angry men presently on the Supreme Court. (Ok, a woman who is a Yankees fan too)
This is going to become a massive fail of epic proportions. This is the golden age of wagering.
Sorry guys.... I'm in absolute fucking awe over this story.
For absolutely zero reason..... 1%.
This is a guarantee sports betting will be off the books forever
Detroit under is gold unless it hits OT
Best tweet I've read...
counter offer to the nba: You pay 1 percent to the books b/c it gets you most of your viewers. We might meet in the middle.
Here we go, another gold under pick about to go to OT and maybe still cover.
But honestly I've had way more than my fair share of these.
Now I've gotta fade 21 in OT.
At last count Druff was at 131-93-3 record.
At 550/500 he would have paid the NBA $1248.50
:lol2
The states don't have to agree to give the leagues anything though.
If there is ever a sports wagering segment on Drexel’s Show and you’re on - count me in. Not b/c I have much to offer but because I’d selfishly enjoy shooting the shit.
Let’s talk about ESPN. We know it’s dead. No one tunes in for scores and highlights. I have a phone. 2 clicks I get everything I need and thousands of hawt takes.
ESPN has huge contracts to broadcast sports. They are struggling to cover that cost by raising cable fees and laying off talent. The future is NBA League Pass, MLB Channel etc. Virtually the same cost if I whack ESPN.
All ESPN offers is worthless hawt takes. I think Brent Musberger and his brother are poised to crush with VSiN. Gimme bottom line analysis and put your money where your mouth is. The relationships they are forming with the books and the practice they are gaining with their format is a huge edge.
If I am going to drop $100 to see a game live I am also willing to drop $20-$50 for some lulz as well or instead. I am that VSiN listener/viewer and an NBA viewer that night.
Wagering is the league’s savior and they should thank their lucky stars. Rather than looking for a handout they should nurture and incubate the new legalized books. Symbiosis
Furthermore, I should be free to wager in any state I please. Run a good book at the right price and I will come. Collect taxes as you would any other online purchase. Price it right or I will take my business to another state.
That will never happen but I have a dream.
@Cmoney is this true?

As a follow-up to our exclusive interview this morning on #ANumbersGame @VSiNLive, @MGMResortsIntl @MGMRaceSports VP @Jay_Rood confirms to me that he took a multi-million dollar bet on #FlyEaglesFly in #SBLII. It is NOT the largest bet MGM has ever taken.
Well it wasn't cmoney but this confirms the Pats are going to win the superbowl
If it wasn't for college football games, NBA games and MNF 15 nights/year I don't think I would ever go to ESPN anymore.
I definitely don't watch any of their programming that isn't live sports.
Actually, I take that back. I will watch some Van Pelt and Stanford Steve late Saturday and Monday nights after football games. I especially like the bad beat segment, which unfortunately I had action on way too often this year.
Last night we had one solid gold under, which finished regulation covering by 21.5 points -- only to run into OT. The Detroit game finished 89-89, but OT managed just 15 points, keeping the under fortunately (and deservedly) intact.
The Boston under was close the whole way, bouncing back and forth between on pace to win and lose, though never too far in either direction.
It squeaked by when the total finished at 215, though those who bet close to game time got a worse line than that (it closed at 213.5 on most books).
However, most of the way you were getting 217 or 216.5 since I posted it, so if you bet it, you probably won.
The 2-0 day takes me to 133-93-3 overall, putting me 40 games over .500 for the first time this season.
More interestingly, it leaves me at 22-8-1 in the past 9 days, with many of those 22 covering easily.
NBA:
Washington +5 -105 (may want to drop some on moneyline +180)
Perhaps more shortly
Golden State under 228 (227.5 ok)
New York under 211
