I am concerned. It has been stated on the webz that usually the SEC gives the filing party a chance to amend their submission. They don't outright reject them. This shit has been going on for 3 or 4 years with the Winkelvii. They again amended their filing as late as Jan 20.

They are running this out to the end this time. Even a no decision is a win. At least one of the SEC decision makers is friendly to FinTech. Ughh.

FinTech has an incredible future, regardless. Bitcoin, specifically, probably has shitty future. It's the Netscape Navigator of crytocurrency, only its infancy has been soiled with associations with drugs and prostitution.

I don't want to speak with a joint in my hand, but the idea that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme only speaks to the fact that every modern currency is a Ponzi scheme, capable of causing or becoming a bubble.

It's like making the distinction between a cult and a religion. Bitcoin is still a cult, but it's starting to grow and at one point, it will be too big and acceptable to be a cult, so people will treat it like a religion - only, when Bitcoin becomes a religion, there won't be tax exemptions.

Druff has mentioned before that he holds bitcoin to have enough digital cash-on-hand that he can immediately rebuy if he runs bad at a game that is still exploitable. So, he probably doesn't have the luxury to play around trading bitcoin, as he may miss an opportunity to make 100% on the bitcoin he's holding by quickly reloading at a juicy game. So, he has to bear the risk of taking hits to the value of his bitcoin holdings to operate his business.

Yeah, I love btc now. I don't care what the price is because I'm rarely sitting on them for more than a day or two between blockchain to bitpay transfers. The most exposure I have is the 3-5 day wait on coinbase ACH buys, so I don't care where it levels off, but I hope it never goes away at this point. I used to kind of want to see them go back to $50 because it drove me crazy that I didn't get in when Micon was doing 5btc freerolls every week and tossing randoms 10btc for fun, but I've grown to like their limited utility, because I'm a degenerate, and they are useful for us degenerates who like drugs and gambling. I've never bought drugs with them because I'm a tech tard who would likely walk face first into a sting, but I'm a btc fan at this point and prefer they stick around.
