This is a true story. A guy and his gal were driving in N. Vancouver and they passed
a hitch hiker. The driver, the guy, said that guy looked a lot like Bono..They doubled
back and picked up the hitch hiker. It was Bono. No explanation as to why he was there
but he invited the pick up ees to the upcoming concert back stage passes etc. it hit
the fm air waves at the time...pretty good
I heard this live on FM radio back in the day......so it wasn't some fable.
