As awesome as that alternate ending was, for those that don't know it's a takeoff from the series finale of the Bob Newhart show, which many consider the best ending to a sitcom ever. The tall blonde comment, which was hilarious on multiple levels, was a direct link...

If anyone is like me and is watching this on Netflix, and was too cheap to pay for those last 8 episodes, they are being shown on A+E today.
If it was mentioned previously, i apologize, but I haven't read this thread, and as not to catch any spoilers.
Kinda sad to see Tuco go

Feds: Blue meth seen in New Mexico
http://www.sfgate.com/entertainment/...co-5141398.php
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Reality in the illegal drug world is mimicking fiction.
Kevin Abar, assistant special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New Mexico, says distributors are selling methamphetamine tinted blue in the Four Corners region.
That mirrors AMC's hit drama "Breaking Bad," which depicted an Albuquerque-based meth operation that cooked up the drug with a blue hue.
Abar says tinting meth blue is a way for distributors to advertise and brand their product.
But he says the blue meth being sold makes people sick. He says it has been cut with chemicals to make it blue and is not the "pure" product portrayed on "Breaking Bad."
Abar says agents also have stumbled upon red-colored meth.
"Breaking Bad" last year ended its popular run after five seasons.
end of season 3 dragged, halfway through season 4 is dragging but I think it is about to get good
Samarium is element #62 on the periodic table
Samarium is used to treat lung cancer
There were a total of 62 episodes of Breaking Bad
Hard to believe I didn't start this show until a few weeks ago, almost to the end of season 3.
I am on Season 4 Episode 6 right now. Things are heating up.
I haven't read this thread because I don't want to get hit with spoilers. I can't wait to knock off the last 20 episodes or so. Been watching for over a month now.
Good stuff. The Fly episode was probably the dumbest yet though.
That is all
Finished this last night.
Great series. All of the outcomes were fairly predictable. It was just a matter of how and when. I think the prior two episodes were basically the finale as well. The last episode was just the last touch. Obv, the way the gun was used was fairly stupid, but it's Walt, and if any character would be capable of building something like that, it'd be him. Great show though. Only thing I don't get is Saul changed his identity as well. Yet, they have a spinoff coming called Better Call Saul. I guess we will see how they explain that since he always talked about how there was no going back.
Better Call Saul is supposed to be a prequel. As far as changing his identity, I would imagine due to all of that dirty meth money laundering the feds probably have a pretty solid case against Saul so his best option is to get the fuck out before shit really blows up.
