Beer pipeline running underground in Belgium..

.... but it only has a start and end point. While it would be cool if it could be piped into homes and businesses, similar to the way water is delivered, the system wasn't designed for this.

Best IPA I've ever had. Monkish has me hooked.

Game of Thrones time. Cheers!

Not bad, I think I needed it to be colder for whatever reason.
RBC
what kind of hopps does that have (suppa duppa fly)? A bit of fruit in it as well? That color looks awesome!
Probably the most complex beer I have ever had. A cacophony of flavors that take my taste buds in different directions.
A little Socializing and I found this (the insta embed on PFA doesn't include the comments, so I copied them below)

- monkishbrewingCan release for tomorrow (Sat 5/14) at 12pm. Two new IPAs. // ONE LIFE. ONE LOVE // 5.0% Session IPA with Citra and Mosaic!! I know, i know … it’s kinda big for a “session IPA” and is more of an American Pale Ale. but we like calling things some sort of “IPA” ;) about 75 cases (which is roughly how much previous batches have been) // SUPA DUPA FLY // 6.7% IPA with Simcoe, Amarillo, Galaxy. about 160 cases. That’s right, about double our usual amount.
1L1L is $15 per 4 pack limit two 4pk per person. SDF is $16 4pk limit four 4pk pp.
Also PINT GLASSES will be available ($6)

oh, cool. thanks for that.
based on the hops, Id probably enjoy the other one more since it has citra hops.
$4/can is kind of steep, but may be worth a try, if these come to Chicago.
They make double IPAs because a single amount of awfulness just wasn't enough.
lol, it is funny that the beer that sailors were forced to drink because their beer would go bad is now the beer that everyone pays a premium for. I have to guess that after so many centuries of drinking it, that when reintroduced into the palette that it woke up some 200 year old gene that got used to drinking over-hopped ales.
busted out my last one of these last night.
Its one of my top beers, but they make it so damn difficult to get around me, and Im like 2 hours from the brewery
Considering all of the fancy ass hops from different regions and new methods of brewing like Dogfishhead continuously hopped IPA, I would say that the traditional ones would be on the weak to medium side, since modern brewers have been hopping for flavor at different stages of the brew cycle, instead of hopping for the sake of preserving the beer for 6 months in a wooden barrel. I mean the only other option the sailors had was to drink Grog, and that shit still got you too fucked up to be of any use on a pitching deck in high seas.
Well shit! I now have a predicament. Monkish is coming out with a Double IPA and a single IPA on Saturday to which is the same day System of a Stout is being released. I'm guessing the play here is to get to Monkish as early as possible to get cans at 12 and haul ass to Beachwood and pray they are not sold out.
Well shit it looks like I will be shut out on one of them. I'm leaning towards passing on System of a Stout since I just ordered 3 bottles of Modern Times' Bourbon Barrel-Aged Monsters Park. Plus I will be picking up 3 bottles of Alesmith's Mexican Speedway Stout this weekend and they teased Bourbon-Barrel aged Speedway happening within the next few weeks.
I bought a 6 pack of these the other day for $9.99. This is a very good Double IPA.
It's better then the Bells Two Hearted Ale (which is very good) but not as quite Hopslam, however, for the price it's much more value then Hopslam.

Bootsy, did you decide to go to the monkish release?
This chubby douche proudly displaying his cans of treehouse makes me tilt.
Which chubby guy with the treehouse cans? I got there just before 9 and the line was already almost out to the street. I was asleep in my chair for the majority of the time. The guy next to me busted out a can of Heady Topper and that smell woke me up.
I had zero chance of getting System of a Stout. I have an abundance of coffee stouts BA and Non-BA plus I am picking up 3 bottles of Alesmith Mexican Speedway Stout and 3 bottles of BA Monsters Park this weekend.

Haze for days
This is the chubby dude in the black shirt. This is him putting his cans on display again after he hid them when the cops showed up.

Bottle logic has a NE style ipa on tap right now. I'm thinking of picking up a growler.
Noble put this out on social media this morning.
Look, when it comes to handholding poses with friends, the REAL OG move isn't the Rap Squat- it's the GOLDEN GIRLS. So for our collabeeration with @cellarmakerbrewing, we went full Shady Pines... Watch out for our collabeeration hitting your faceholes MID-JUNE. Because we CAN! #craftbeer #OCbeer #goldengirls #DankYouForBeingAFriend #blanche #rose #dorothy #sophia #shadypines #doubleIPA #becausewecan #rapsquat #showingbrianwhitewhoownsthegangsterpose #dank #juicy #cloudywithachanceofturbidityballz
If anyone can outdo what Monkish has been doing. It's these guys.
French Dip paired with Noble's Naughty Sauce on nitro. Not a bad way to start the 3-day weekend.
Bootsy, let me know how good those BBA Monster Parks are. I really wanted to buy some but I doubt I'll be able to make it to San Diego to pick up some bottles.
Not a bad idea if I say so myself.

It was a Brown Paper Tickets release. The other 2 variants BBA Monster's Park with Coffee (I can't recall what type of coffee and where it is from) and BBA Monsters Park with Coconut sold out within 1 minute.
I am kind of glad I went this route because early indications are that this year's System of a Stout is disappointing.

Had this again for the first time in a few years. Still awesome.
