Hustler Casino Live - cheating by Robbi Jade Lew against Garrett Adelstein?

Just off the top if you have a crime being committed on tape & apparently a confession…then can’t you proceed without the victim’s cooperation? I would suspect this guy has been doing this for a long time. Hustler has a basically run out of large chips because of these games.

Of course there is a possibility he was in cohoots with Robbie. Knows it’s only a matter of time until it gets out, so he grabs this 15 K. If he has been doing this for sometime, which is definitely the more plausible explanation. He may have thought with Robbi not seeming to care much about money & with other things on her mind, she was the perfect target.

The majority of cash players will notice money missing from their stack. Shit is fucking crazy. The Beanz interview Druff did about him bringing her to Hustler really brought my suspicion level way down to almost zero. However, this employee certainly could of somehow contacted Robbi one way or another once he knew she was on the show.

He would be pissed off as hell about the money being returned to Garrett. So he could of conceivably said fuck it I’m taking my cut right now.

if he cheats then he didn't start today with cheating,

I personally don’t believe the 15k theft and Robbi choosing not to prosecute are related. I see opinions on the 2+2 forum, people saying stuff like “If she doesn’t press charges she is guilty of cheating” and “Why doesn’t she press charges to get her money back?” or “The guy took 15k since that is about 10% of what she gave back to Garrett and that was the dude’s take for helping her cheat.” Are these people serious??? C’mon guys! It’s like these people have no idea how the justice system works. First, I am assuming Hustler gave Robbi the 15k back. Second, this guy stealing 15k is absolutely wrong, but not everyone wants to go through the process of “pressing charges” and dealing with possible retaliation. If it was just pressing charges and giving a statement then yeah, but here in Calif, unfortunately that is not how it works. There is VIDEO EVIDENCE of this guy taking the 15k right off the table. If that is not enough to prosecute, then I don’t know what is. Honestly, if I got my money back I wouldn’t go through the headache of testifying and face possible retaliation either.

I've got a few things to bring here, which haven't been brought out yet.

First off, Robbi following that Bryan guy on Twitter is a red herring. Robbi was following a bunch of people who commented on the situation, as was her husband. Bryan (the emploiyee who Hustler said stole $15k from Robbi's stack) put out a 4-part tweet on September 30, telling everyone Hustler Casino Live is super safe and secure (lol).

Therefore, it is somewhat likely Robbi followed him on September 30, after that statement was made. If she was following him BEFORE September 30, that would be a different story. However, it may be impossible to determine this.

Wouldn’t really make sense because there was no controversy entering the game.

Two things Hustler did yesterday to subtlety point to guilt. This could mean they have more coming or they are basically trying to keep the heat on Robbi.

In their initial statement they said “Without of victim, the Gardena police told us they do not intend to pursue a criminal prosecution at this time”. This seems deliberate. There is a victim, I believe they were sending a message here. The correct thing to say would be “Due to the victim’s choice not to pursue this further….” Instead they clearly state no victim.

Additionally, a tweet regarding returning the 15K to Robbi was sent about 4 hours after the initial statement.

Robbi was told about this while on Joey’s podcast and was unaware until then. It’s pretty clear that if you have a livestream and chips are taken off a player’s stack by one of your employees, you must return that money. I don’t think that’s even debatable. But they originally decided to not make mention of it at the very least in the first statement.

I don’t buy it for a second. Monday is the only day of the week they don’t draw for seats. DGAF almost always takes the 2 seat. He is a very unorthodox player and I’ve seen him be wrong many times. He crushed it on Monday, so that’s probably a part of the reason he started to get scrutinized by this guy. I’m still not going to make a 2 plus 2 account. As for Beanz, Joey’s podcast interview didn’t go anywhere near as smooth as with Druff. Joey is noticeably burnt out. Many of his guests are taking over some of the interviewing for him which is understandable. But it has caused some awkwardness.

Beanz was asked if Robbie and he had any kind of financial relationship. Beanz said he was not comfortable disclosing that. So of course he did. But what in the world could this be? How can he possibly stake her when he got her in the game because she sucks? Maybe she lent him money. That seems highly unlikely. All I can think is he took a little piece of her to help get her in the game. Thinking long term this would help the stream and help himself.

Druff’s sports wagering record of late would have proved a huge distraction for Harolobob and jealousy would have ensued.

There really great results no doubt about it. He’s probably the best or second best player in the lineup most nights. Vertucci is up a fuck ton I’m sure as well on Tuesday/Thursday. But Nick mainly just waits for big hands and for whatever reason people keep paying him off.

You know people will dissect the hands and that will really tell the story. There is also a big time donator whale on most Monday nights in that game that has boosted a lot of player’s bottom line. I’m sure a bunch of regulars are up in the game as well.

Cant agree with your read on the no victim thing. Thats a common type statement from police and prosecutors that without a complaining witness/victim they will not proceed with the case. It was the buzz words they used to use to excuse Domestic Violence all the time until must arrest and bypassing the victim laws became much more common. Often when it comes to theft cases without cooperation from the person stolen from the perp walks. Its especially common when its theft among family members.

Think about it, they could put up 250k In the Mike Postle saga and his co-conspirator feeding him the hole cards would jump all over it for 250k. Mike Postle himself may even spill the beans for 250k. For pure curiosity, I would much rather know all the fine details to the Postle saga (main players ect.) over Garrett/Robbi scandle.

As a documentary it may not reach to far outside of the poker community, but if they made a Documentary with Postle and his co-coinspiritors I could see Poker players paying $100 to watch, especially if no details were released on how it was done prior to it's release. I could even see something like this being crowd funded by the Poker community.

I know someone from my past who was targeted by NVRE.
I've read through his reviews.
NVRE, and someone Nick himself, clearly shame their victims in when responding to their complaints.
It's really pathetic. There are several claims left in a status where NVRE offered money back 'after they delete their review'; the complainant agrees to do so after they receive money and guess what, crickets from NVRE.

It's disgusting reading through the complaints against Nick from his past business, and the complaints all fit his snake oil salesman persona.
Oh and he's an ex cop (lapd?), would love to hear what happened there.

The contested pot has got to be just an ante compared to the social media surrounding this.
