I'm jealous. I've owned many dogs, but never a puppy.
The great Ichiro adding a new trick to his repertoire.

There is nothing in this world like adopting a puppy. You spend all this time teaching them to go out the doggie door to pee and poop, you feed them, you brush them, you cuddle them. You teach the basic commands. You pet them and scratch them. And when they are old enough to understand, and you take down the gates... you realize... they have become inextricably bonded with you - for life. No other experience is as sweet.
I heard "Lamborghini Mercy" six times in two hours
I counted.
move to vegas they said
you'll blow up huge they said
That's enough Willard.
Fascinating.........I've become a major Football (soccer) junkie because of the NHL lockout.
EPL and Champions League are so attractive. Comes on early, doesn't drag on and on like the NoFunLeague.
But the little things you notice are just as interesting.
The crowds are fantastic. They are one. Singing. Maiming.
They, the Brits, have a tradition of one minute applause. The same as one minute of silence
but it's more of a celebration (despite the loss of someone) than a sorrow.

Also, a lot of advertising for Air Emirates this and Dubai that.....WTF?
That leads me to a program called "Strip the City", featuring the city of Dubai. OMG
I've heard of Dubai obv but I never knew how fascinating that city is. The worlds largest building and other
engineering milestones make this a good watch. Fascinating

would suggest it's mostly to with the fact you'll get occasional idiots who think it's amusing to boo/chant during the minute's silence (say if it's the death of a rival's ex-player). the applause certainly does seem more appropriate anyhow.

I watched Lincoln over the weekend and Zero Dark Thirty tonight. Both very good movies, but also a little long and frankly I thought Zero was a little slow.
I'm being a bit nitpicky but that's my take. Both very good films.
I hate driving behind out-of-state cars in Las Vegas.
Hate it.
They are always really slow and really confused.
Local Las Vegas drivers are bad enough, and many also drive slowly because they haven't paid their registration fees and don't want to get pulled over. But tourist drivers are the absolute worst.
Druff, you should get an image resizer mod. I know there are some available for vBulletin. It kinda sucks when people post huge pictures that take up the entire width of the page.
I watched Killing Them Softly last night. It was ok, but ultimately too talky, self-indulgent and had a complete lack of likeable characters. Moralizing, masturbatory filmmaking.
It had it's moments, but ultimately collapsed under the weight of the filmmaker's ambition IMO.
