Benjamin was about to go to bed when the Dodgers got that game-tying single by Kike Hernandez.
I ran upstairs and got him, and we watched the rest of the 10th. When the Dodgers failed to get Hernandez home from 2nd, I brought him back upstairs.
McCarthy is rusty and there was no way he was going to contain the Houston offense on a night like this.
Dodgers showed some heart both by coming back in the 10th AND hitting the ball hard in the 11th.
This one wasn't meant to be.
Will be an interesting series.
When it comes back to LA for Game 6 (and yes, it will), it will be much cooler, and the ball won't fly like this.

I didn't see much of a big deal regarding the Astros winning their first World Series game ever.
They actually played better last night and deserved to win, though Dave Roberts deserves some blame for yanking Hill after 4 innings for no apparent reason.
McCarthy is a failpitcher (at least right now, coming right off injury), and I knew the Dodgers were losing once they didn't win it in the 10th.
Astros are tougher than the Cubs and Diamondbacks, so the Dodgers can't just coast through this one.

I snoozed hoping for a pullback but it never ever dipped.
The home field thing this post season has tremendous power is all I can surmise.
