It seems like the "people would vote differently if the vote was held again" is just A bullshit media narrative:
I am withholding independent thought on this matter until Milo weighs in.
Oh and,
When the stakes are this high and there's this much mass confusion and uncertainty. You should be a lil bit more responsible by posting credible sources instead of some attention whore from the C.E.C (Conservative Entertainment Complex) who will say anything to further his agenda $$.
There's a disinfo epidemic among the right because people don't know the difference between credible sources (probably boring) and the C.E.C. whores (exciting and controversial).
Would a "For Entertainment Only" disclaimer on C.E.C. content help you out or what?
At some point we may need to require content to be labeled (For Entertainment Only)
Do guys have any idea how large the flat Earth/hollow earth/reptilian people type communities have become? There's def. some trolls but there's really believers in the most LOL bullshit. wtf.
These C.E.C types aren't as easy to spot. They will show up on college campuses and give speeches etc. and act like credible sources.
Yea, that rant wasn't meant to be directed specifically at you per se as it was a rant about the internet as a whole. I realize you're a harmless fuzzball in the grand scheme. Post all the right wing bullshit you want, I'm the one with a forum reputation that rivals Mumbles. wtf is up with that.
I don't think ill criticize Milo related content in the future. I was trying to figure out why he's so popular. I don't think it's what he's saying since Ann Coulter and a dozen or so others have been saying the same thing for years.
He's popular because he's the only gay man on the planet who supposedly straight conservative men can practically worship and constantly talk about without looking gay themselves. He's a decent looking guy and i just noticed he posts pic that other gay men probably enjoy.
So 4dragons/ sanlamar what happened. Let me guess, your jerking off to some pornstar, ex gf, bangin your wife or whatever and all you can think about is pounding Milo's bun's instead or something like that. Good for you guys, glad you found an outlet. Do your thing, i won't call you out when you guys chat endlessly about him.
I finally read up on Brexit, wow. I'm surprised it passed tbh I'm so used to seeing the establishment doing what ever they want. The establishment candidates stepping down after the vote was incredible. That's the way W. and Cheney should of left office. That's the way Hillary should step down for having her an unauthorized server handling secret information and a pending indictment.
I would of voted to leave and support their decision. It'll be interesting to see how things progress. Merkel's fucked up for importing all those Muslims with little or no regard to the consequences.
Are these Eastern Europeans I see mentioned a bit also known as Gypsies? Any of you guys have any experience with Gypsies? What's their story.
TIL the word Gypped is actually a racial epithet directed at Gypsies. As in 'you got gypped on that deal.' ooops.
LoL your name has Russia in it and you don't know gypsies don't actually work and mostly steal and create chaos where ever they go
mostly eastern Europeans IMO are some of the hardest working people you will ever meet not afraid to get there hands dirty and will do most anything for the betterment of the family, that being said most every one (born pre 1980) has been raised in some sort of socialist manner and has trust issues but when those barriers are removed you would find some of the warmest most hospitable people you've ever meet.
these strong family values and work ethics are passed on through generations.
Gypsies are not to be trusted ever.
History tells us that all empires eventually collapse. The UK is wise to vote itself out the monstrosity that is the EU before the whole thing self-implodes.
None of the leave voters I know regret their decision. That 3 million petition thing is meaningless and pointless. A total waste of time.
Liberal lefties love democracy until the majority makes a decision they don't like. Then they cry like babies.
75% of under 25s voted to remain? Their future has been decided by old people? That much quoted statistic is very misleading. There was a 38% turnout in that age group. So 28.5% voted to remain. 71.5% either abstained by not voting or voted to leave.
American forum members; imagine if we were talking about the AU, American Union. Unelected bureaucrats the capital Lima are imposing unpopular laws on your country that over-rule laws set by your own elected representatives and judiciary. You've had to open your borders to all other member American countries and allow unlimited numbers of their citizens entry. For the privilege you pay a membership fee (after rebates) of $200 million per week. In return you get free-trade across borders and the opportunity to join a shared currency with Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Colombia etc. Are you voting in or out?
your thinking of this is only one sided as if every one in europe is clambering to get into GB which is not the case...furthermore trade between the countries involved are made easier with less bureaucrats with there fingers on industries buttons and funds, sure there are plenty of negatives but in the long run sans merkel things are better for trade and industry.
taking in immigrants when there is no jobs for them is always a mistake. Sharing intellectual and industries talent seemlelsy between countries is not a bad thing.
Milo is clever as shit. I scanned is background and had the notion he is fluid with his ability to spot opportunity for entertainment and controversy.
100% believe he could take the other side and crush but arguing for the status quo doesn't bring the same hits.
He is downright smarter than anyone else in the room and is prolly just abusing audiences everywhere for profit and his own amusement.
This moment in time is a boom for political satire in the in the same way the poker boom was a decade ago.
Art Buckwald would have enjoyed this. RIP.
So you're saying that more than 90% of the under 25 voted either remain or abstained. It's good we cleared that earlier misleading statistic. We wouldn't want to mislead people on minor details or build an entire campaign around misleading, straight up lying and in those rare cases when that doesn't work just ignoring opposing arguments.
American members can just pick any state they feel like and think for a full minute how bright it would be for that state to leave the federation. Say California can't solve their immigration issues while being a part of USA, not only are those pesky illegals taking all the jobs Californians have no interest in but there's also an influx of people from other states stealing even more jobs. Then there's all the fascist rules that the federal government forces California to follow that deal with things like the quality of air. Clearly you should be allowed to breath as much smog as you feel like. Then you could assume that California itself has stricter regulations about the quality of air because breathing smog is retarded but there is small cost to taxpayers from keeping the quality of air at a non lethal level. Now instead of treating people like adults and explaining to them that were raising taxes because of x you just blame the federal government and then you repeat that process a few hundred times on different issues. Obvious solution to all this is to commit an economic suicide. That way you don't have to worry about a minuscule chance of losing your job to immigration because that job either no longer exist or it doesn't pay enough for anyone out of state to be interested in.
Tine you know I'm a huge fan of yours, but you have been so off the mark in this thread it's not even remotely funny. Granted you have never stooped to the level of retardation as the mumbles fuck has but still man.
The ~3mm signatures that petition has is heavily in favour of people who voted remain... also, 4chan has been linked to close to 200k of those. LOL that 80k that came from people in north korea... there won't be a revote sadly.
Your source must still be "drunk", but yea your batting average looks like the IQ of a love child between Garrett and the mumbles fuck.
Willing to give odds that fins on average close down below -2% tomorrow, any takers? Willing to give 2-1 up to $1k (escrow with druff)
A decent piece on why rest of the Europe think that the whole brexit shitshow was mildly retarded from 6 months ago...
http://blogs.lse.ac.uk/brexitvote/20...-uks-strategy/
...regarding immigration in UK from that article you can pick up that "Britain urged that the Union be hugely enlarged to the east" and from other sources we can pick up that in 2004 enlargement of EU came to include among others Poland. Most of the old EU countries chose to implement restrictions for immigration from the newer much poorer countries and as result (go figure) they didn't have any issues with the influx of east European immigrants. UK on the other chose to not place any restrictions and now 12 years later they are crying about 750000 poles stealing their jobs because they have no control over their borders because big bad EU is a meanie.
Brexit leaders are walking back some of their biggest promises
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ses/?tid=sm_fb
What are the odds now Parliament eventually approves the motion by that petition to require a supermajority in a referendum vote on leaving the EU?Quote:
Nigel Farage was perhaps the loudest voice calling for Britain's exit from the European Union, though he wasn't officially part of the "Leave" campaign. As leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party, he represented the isolationist, anti-immigration core of the Brexit movement. Speaking to the host of ITV's "Good Morning Britain," Farage called one of the "leave" campaign's biggest promises a "mistake," though he distanced himself from the decision to make the promise in the first place.
Host: "The 350 million pounds a week that we send to the E.U., which we will no longer send to the E.U., can you guarantee that's going to go to the NHS [Britain's National Health Service]?"
Farage: "No, I can't, and I would never have made that claim. It is one of the mistakes that, I think, the 'leave' campaign made."
Host: "Hold on a moment. That was one of your adverts."
They then sparred over whether it was the "leave" campaign's advertisement or Farage's in particular, before moving on. The advertisement was the campaign's, not Farage's.
Host: "That's why many people voted."
Farage: "They made a mistake doing that."
Host: "You're saying after 17 million people have voted for 'leave,' based — I don't know how many people voted on the basis of that advert, but that was a huge part of the propaganda —you're now saying that's a mistake?"
The chance of another referendum is <0.1%. Brexit is going ahead, make no mistake. And despite the mass hysteria that's broken out among those on the losing side the majority of voters in the UK still want it.
That bus issue was cleared up weeks before the referendum. The sore losers are dragging up anything they can looking for reasons to get the result annulled. The bus does not say that if Britain leaves the EU £350 million per week will be spent on the NHS, it never did. Some people deliberately misinterpreted it as saying that. The Leave campaign have apologised for any confusion caused by the wording, nothing more. The exact slogan on the bus was 'We send the EU £350 million a week, lets fund our NHS instead'. Google it. Regardless of what it said 52% of the population aren't going to vote on anything based purely on a slogan on a bus that very few of them even saw.
Scare tactics were used by both sides. Many mistruths made by remain campaigners are now being exposed. For example in the run-up to the referendum the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne (the Prime Ministers right hand man) warned that a leave vote would lead to financial Armageddon and that he would have to make an emergency budget 'almost immediately' to slash public spending and increase taxes. Surprise surprise, that was a bluff. After coming out of hiding this morning he made a statement today telling everybody that the UK's economy is in great shape. There will be no budget until after the appointment of a new Prime Minister, which is 2 or 3 months away.
Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne comes out of hiding and Yellen goes into hiding.
David Cameron resigns over the humiliating Brexit result. Gotta respect the sense of honor & practicality. Wish we saw similar resignations in the US.
I think Parlaiment in the UK is pretty cool. Is transparency and openness what I am seeing comparatively?
Love seeing Cameron bagged a new mortgage just before the shit went down. Bully for him.
someone give Mark Carney a knighthood, only one remaining sane right now
And the accusation by the Leavers that he engaged in "scaremongering" the markets into tanking with the Yes-Brexit outcome is asinine.
Carney in Brexit Crisis Confronts Own Future at Three-Year Mark

FFS! The financial market pros knew what the likely market reactions to Brexit getting the green light. It's jusy not their responsibility to warn the public about such matters absent an alignment with own for-profit interests to do so. That kind of warning is *exactly* in the wheelhouse of the head of a central bank! Carney would have been grossly negligent if he *hadn't* warned the public, as well as the politicians, of the likely financial market consequences of such a momentus political event.
Theresa May is my lean
Trump voters pay attn.
This is what happens when the people listen to right wing carnival barkers. I don't like how things are falling apart and the head carnival barker is already walking back his claims. I hope it plays out tho, i'd like to see how things are in a year or so.
So 350 million that was never 350 million to begin with followed by changing the meaning of instead to something else. I mean sure it's perfectly logical once you found out that 350 million is really something slightly less than 200 million that instead would also mean some undefined portion of that money might in some optimistic cases be used to fund NHS. Lying with good intentions really is practically telling the truth.
Osborne's job is to do his best Baghdad Bob imitation now. It's not really working but you still have to try and tbh it would be pretty irresponsible for any elected official to make any remarks that could have an impact in making the situation worse.
Leave campaign never had leg to stand on regarding economic impacts of fucking up this really simple multiple choice test so they just dismissed all of it referring any warnings as scaremongering and making bold claims that people had had enough of experts. It's ok to be stupid and if real life is depressing, don't believe it and just make shit up.

10 Winners of the Nobel prize in economics gave their opinion why UK would be better off in the EU. But seriously what do those pinheads know? 10 of them gather to give their view on almost any subject at least every other decade. Just some random experts scaremongering the common man with their doomsday visions.
Favorite Nigel Farage quote from the weekend “I think we are going into a mild recession anyway, completely regardless of Brexit.".
Trading in bank shares was temporarily suspended on multiple occasions today as the value of European lenders tumbled in response to the vote to leave the EU.
Financial giants Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) both fell more than 18 per cent by lunchtime as markets increasingly turned on stocks perceived to be most at risk from prolonged uncertainty over the UK's relationship with Europe.
The fall was so steep at the two FTSE 100-listed lenders, it triggered circuit breakers on the London Stock Exchange, which automatically bring trading to a five minute halt if a stock falls by more than eight per cent from its opening price.
Barclays was halted for five minutes this morning, while buying and selling in RBS was suspended on two separate occasions as shares tanked by more than 22 per cent.
In Europe, share prices at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse fell to their lowest ever level.
Both UK banks are currenty trading at their lowest level since the financial crash. Barclays is currently down 18 per cent on Friday's close at 126p, while RBS is down 22 per cent. The fall follows sharp losses of around 20 per cent for both banks during trading on Friday.
Deutsche Bank - which has come under sustained pressure in the negative interest rate environment - crashed to €12.40 a share, down seven per cent on the day. Before the financial crisis a share in the German lender topped €117.
Credit Suisse fell more than eight per cent to SFr10.33 - its lowest ever level. Before the referendum it was trading at more than SFr13.
Other London-listed stocks to suffer the fate of having trading halted were FTSE 100 housebuilders Taylor Wimpey, Berkeley Group and Persimmon, insurers Legal and General and FTSE 250 challenger bank Virgin Money.
On Friday, with markets reeling from the UK's decision to breakaway from the EU, the FTSE 100 suffered its worst open since the financial crisis, before recovering to stand 3.2 per cent down for the day.
This morning, the bluechip index was off by 1.2 per cent at 6,067.
However, the flight from risky assets pushed government bond yields even further into record-low territory. A 10-year bond from the UK government crashed below one per cent today, standing at 0.95 per cent by mid-morning, an unprecedented fall of 0.13 percentage points - or 13 basis points - in one day.

Markets hoping that future bad news brings about more QE and stimulus....as supposed to actual economic growth.

The Soviet Union lasted 69 years before it collapsed. The European Union is currently 58 years old. Just saying.
I'm a leave voter. I must admit I do have a regret. I lumped my money on leave at 4/1 two days before the referendum. I also backed leave getting over 46.5% of votes at 10/11 a week before that. Had I waited until the day of the vote I'd have got 7/1 on leave. Kicking myself.
