And it’s still a bargain compared to most tourist attractions in the US. Check out rooms on the Jersey shore, Miami, NOLA, San Francisco, anywhere honestly and compare them to Vegas.
My issue is still the grifting and bandwagon jumping by bloggers and the news reporting on the story. Videos with bullshit titles like “Where is everyone” and “Why is Vegas empty” are pure clickbait and I would think the posters here would see right through them.
6% down is nothing the average person on the Strip would notice. Look at a football or baseball game. Do you notice 3000 empty seats in a 50,000 seat stadium or do you see the 47,000 fans? The average day on the Vegas strip sees over 107,000 visitors with weekends much higher.
Look, we all want the old Vegas back but it isn’t happening and as I said before, this happens every decade. Hell, most of us now would love to see 2015 Vegas back. And in 2015 we all complained that 2005 was much better, and on and on. Life goes on.
