After watching the video, and pausing it frame-by-frame as he goes to grab her; it looks as though she raises her hand and goes to hit him. It happens real quick, but she definitely tries to punch him in the midriff.
Second video is a lot more outrageous than the first. How come people are only talking about the first one, involving this girl?
Oh yeah... it's because the first video's officer is white, while the second one is black. So that's not a good racism news story.
In the first video (the clearest shot I've seen so far), you can see that the desk toppled because the girl was sitting there stiff and not allowing the officer to take her out of it. And when he "threw her across the room" (which looked worse in the grainier version I saw earlier), he was almost moving her across the ground, and she was hardly elevated at all. It seems he did this to move her to the corner of the room, away from everyone else. Once again, he didn't handle it correctly, but a lot of this was also her fault. She tried to stick to that desk like glue.
In the second video, I agree that the officer assaulted the kid. The kid was definitely being an asshole and talking shit to the cop, but the cop threw the first punch, and there was no reason to do so. I would understand the outrage at that video, but for some reason nobody is talking about it.
Also, that school looks absolutely horrible. Look at the way the students in the second video were acting. I feel bad for anyone who has to work there, including the police.
I can try to change this.
The rep feature was built into vBulletin, but it was terribly implemented. (For example, there was no way to display rep within the post, which is the main point of having it). That part I had to develop myself.
Unfortunately there is only a setting for "giving rep", rather than "giving negative rep".
this exact scenario played out in my middle school about 3 weeks ago. Kid refused to leave the room when teacher asked. guidance counselor comes in, kid refuses to move. Principal comes up, kid refuses to move. Principal says "ok, Im going to remove all the other students from the room and you are going to sit here until your mother comes" kid got up immediately lol
guess it pays not to teach in the hood
the intellectuals at skatz are 100% against cops german suplexing children
Thank god its n-word on n-word violence in Spring Valley so won't have any racial uprisings. What about the recent case concerning the 17 year old kid shot to death by cop. He refused to cooperate with the officer and wound up getting shot resulting in death for using high beams.
This should be debated on radio. I have much to say as I have been in a classroom quite a few times when similar situations occured.
Let me take the sugar off this one, every single granule.
I might be a bit outraged if it was any other race than black. After years and years of unbiased observation and experiences, I'm sad to say it but black people are different. As a whole they are more prone to violence and mischief. A good analogy is regular bee's vs Africanized bee's.
I bet that girl gets in bigger skirmishes at least monthly at home with family and friends. I don't like where this video begins either, what led up to this point? I bet it's crazy as fuck. Can you imagine being a white law enforcement officer in predominantly black neighborhood? I bet you have to deal with so much shit. How about being a white kid in a school with lot's of black people, I bet it's hell on earth.
Pre internet days I had close family move to Pontiac Mi. and Chicago. Once in a while they'd call and the ones in Chicago had to switch to home schooling and the ones in Pontiac told me they were in lockdown in their house most of the time because of black people. Black people are the most racist and prejudiced race there is, I get steamed just thinking of the shit they went through. Fuckin n-words man.
I'm not some Klansman or some shit. I have a couple black friends and there's so much amazing black talent and black people I admire. I feel really bad for the all the good black people that are stuck in low income black neighborhoods. That being said that girl does not deserve a single nickel from some lawsuit. She should be happy if she's allowed back in school.
The cop should be fired, law enforcement isn't his thing.
My brother is a cop, and I have heard stories for years about the asswipes he gets to deal with. He deals with broads like this all the time.
She was asked by teacher to do something. She refused.
She disrupted the class. She was causing an issue for the entire class and the teacher or school (not sure) chose to involve the police. They probably should have used their own people to handle it, however, Im going to assume that this was serious enough to require police rather than another teacher.
The girl did not follow the command(s) of the officer. When you do that, you are going to have a bad time.
Here is the problem as I see it. The officer is trying to forcibly remove her. AT THAT MOMENT, he is also trying to ensure that he does not suffer any harm from anything she does. She is old enough to injure him with anything in her hands. I can understand him being concerned about getting injured, but once he tried to remove her, and she flailed away, things got out of hand. Even I think he was a bit rough with her in that moment. He could have just dragged her out into the hall so the class could continue, while she was in the chair. He was doing his job, but it seemed to go a bit too far, and now, she is going to have some attorney rape that school for about a college tuition or two.
Its really tough dealing with assholes, but in that position, you have to be able to assess the situation and know what you need to do to attain the desired solution. He failed.
I also see more of these incidents happening if she gets a nice payday, as others will become assholes trying to get paid. Why do you think the Westboro Church protests every very visible funeral? Because God hates Fags?....hell no...they want you to violate their rights so they can sue everyone and collect a nice paycheck.
The issue is that the cop used excessive force. Even his former boss (the sheriff who fired him) said so.

"Deputy Ben Fields did wrong this past Monday, so we're taking responsibility for that," Sheriff Leon Lott of Richland County said at a news conference in Columbia announcing the dismissal.
"The maneuver that he used was not based on the training or acceptable," Lott said, adding that the termination "wasn't a hard decision."
Lott praised the classmates who filmed the officer's overreaction and even encouraged citizens to keep filming cops to help "police the police."
The girl was physically assaulted. It's on tape, she was passive. Whether or not you're a cop,
you will be found guilty of at least a physical assault charge and probably using excessive force.
Cannot understand another viewpoint on this one.
Back in the day, this shit would never would happen. Well, maybe once or twice. Kids at an early age knew the consequences of bad behavior. It was called a stroll down to the principal's office. You could here the SWAT echoing off the hallway lockers and the subsequent crying/balling from the kid. This put "fear" in your mind at an early age. You behave and all is good. Do wrong and get sent to the principal's office. The kid would come back and try to suck it up, but the poor thing just couldn't sit in his seat the rest of that day.
In general, kids nowadays have no respect for their elders or authority. If this was my kid, I would take her down to the school and make her apologize to the students and staff. Unless she is deaf, she got what she deserved.
