Well, the RNC and DNC are indeed powerless. Two candidates which neither political machine support. Not sure what to think.
What I do understand is the populist movement. Trump v Sanders. Pick your poison. Which brings me to your The Hill link. I don’t even know if that’s morning broadcast television or internet. Their teeth are a little too white and they are a little too pretty and young so I’m suspicious. The pairing à la James Carville / Mary Maitln is too cute. The Hill might be worth delving into.
It’s a pure play on pragmatism.
I do have huge recent gut misgivings and moral objections about the new economy. I wrote some nonsense yesterday about gig Amazon drivers delivering Sonatine’s rice and beans.
I love Sonatine and I know he was speaking figuratively but it interests me that he included Amazon and a gig driver in his dream sequence. His subconscious is wrestling with his shallow beliefs.
