Lolz I turned off the Bulls game, calling it a loss.
I can't believe I only lost that by 4.
Lakers also resting Brandon Ingram, who is probably their 2nd or 3rd best player right now. I still think they should cover the 3 though, but it would have been nice to get the news before I bet.
Minnesota had this wrapped up at halftime, up 21.
Now it's a 7 point game.
:gay
Whew..... the Minnesota game.
Up 21 at halftime, then had a horrible 3rd and lost almost the entire lead, cut to 2.
Then they got up 13 again very late in the 4th, only to chunk it off and the game was 111-106 with 50 secs left.
Fortunately Phoenix fouled, Butler made both, Daniels (Phoenix) missed, Phoenix fouled again, Towns made both, and Bender (Phoenix) missed.
That was that.
115-106 final
I guess I was "lucky" there, but honestly when your team is ahead by 21 at halftime and up by 12 with 3:52 left in the game, you don't feel super-blessed to cover -8.
Now if Lakers could stay out of OT, that would be great
Another sub-30-seconds left one point game becomes a 2 point game, and now I'm facing possible OT again.
Portland had to blow the final free throw, so Lakers got one more shot at a game tying 3, but they are so terrible at last-second shots post-Kobe that they obviously bricked badly.
Finish with a 3-1 day, though most of you only got 2-1 if you followed me because of the last-minute/OTB situation with the Toronto pick.
But I did have 3 picks up for hours before game time and those went 2-1, so that's good enough.
85-54-2 is now my record. I'm 14-7 since Monday.
Raptors just went to +1200 on Eastern Conference champs.
I regret not laying some $ at +1600.
I just realized today that it would have be a good bet to make and then hedge with Cavs. What would Cavs be for such a series? Like -400?
Boston has gone to shit, and I don't think Washington is getting it done, either. I really think it's going to be Raptos/Cavs for the ECF, with Cavs very likely being the winner.
But at +1200 that's not quite high enough to be worth doing, if my plan is to hedge when they get to the ECF.
I like Toronto +1200. I don't normally even look at these type of futures, but if my book is offering something similar to this I think it is definitely worth a $100 flier. I just checked and it is showing +800 for them. Meh. Not worth it.
I do have a Toronto O48.5 wins season total bet that is looking good. Of course I also have some other futures that are DOA.
I'll have a fairly high confinance prop set of picks in the next 45 min or so
Just to make sure we are all on the same page with the Tellafriend bet Druff is Escrowing.
It is that jags win their first playoff game, whoever it is in whatever round. They win and I win. They lose and tellafriend wins.
Is this everyone’s understanding?
Saints game U52.5
Chiefs game O43
Lions -3 -115
Bears game U37 -110
All Titan Passing overs.
Marriota over 19.5 and 212.5 (attempts if you can find it) Walker over 4.5 and Mathews over 3.5 being the strongest but can really justify all the yards as well.
Titans supposed to open the game in no huddle and are going to spread the Rams out is the word.
