28DEC20 PASSING YARDS: CAM NEWTON
UN 169.5 -110
Lot of locals hanging under 3.5 FG at -120/-125. Bookm@ker is dealing -150’s and they as sharp as they come.
I’m not bright enough to cap exactly how many FG we going to see tonight but I’m willing to buy in at -120 and hope for the best.
Is everyone in agreement that Bills win tonight? I want to drop 2k on Bills ML but afraid Belicheck is rope a doping the press and the Bills into thinking they are shutting down for the season
Weird Houston/Denver game tonight.
Houston is super-short-handed due to both injuries and COVID. John Wall, Eric Gordon, and 4 others are out.
Denver hasn't looked very good, though they took Kings to OT before losing. (It should be noted that Denver was a 7.5 point favorite in that game, however -- one of the only two picks I've won so far!)
I can't even predict how this will go, regarding the spread, which is Denver -6.5. Easier to predict is that this won't be a defensive contest, and the shorthanded Rockets aren't going to assert themselves defensively, while the Nuggets just haven't played much defense thus far.
The money has all gone the other way so far, but I'm going to be a ploppy and still fire the over, which has moved down several points since earlier today. I rarely do this, but I feel the money is on the wrong side of this one.
Houston/Denver - Over 221.5
I have no idea how they stick with Newton.
The old Bill would sit you indefinitely if you dropped an easy catch or muffed a punt.
Is Stidham really that bad? Are they doing a 3-4 year process of tanking to get a QB and rebuild the roster? Surely Bill won’t stick around for that.
Sirhan Sirhan Neil assassinates another New Englander
This is hilarious and answers your question too
Jarrett Stidham has yet to start his first NFL game.Quote:
Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said Saturday he has seen enough from Stidham in practice to know what New England has in its second-year quarterback.
I did a ton of teasers this weekend. And in hindsight (and probably should have been foresight) had way too much Browns and not enough Bills.
In other news I remember when Cam first entered the league he threw for 300+ yards in a bunch of his first few games. They were always behind and he was just airing it out in comeback efforts racking up massive yards. Obviously it wasn't sustainable and he came back down to earth, but it is really remarkable this is the same person 7 years (or whatever it is) later.
I had enough exposure for one game but 34 yards. Good lord. I genuflect in blunder’s direction.
I have been a teaser machine past two weeks. Much of it wasted extra points but i seriously must be 13-3
You may never see him play again but look at Cam’s footwork. How does this happen on a Belichick team? Perhaps he’s just uneducable
I have been doing good with my 6 point teasers, but getting raped on the 10 point ones. I am fairly confident teams in the -6.5 to -8.5 range have had a better winning % than ones in the 10-13 point range the last few weeks. (I know LOL doing non advantage 10 point teasers. What can I say, I am an action junkie.)
Strictly 6 point for me. I experimented and quit teasing totals and took a rightous & deserved beating from Daly. The lines these past two weeks have been so lopsided it’s the only feasible way to play NFL.
I just read Daly’s weather (Green Bay) post. Made me smile. I binked that total too. Heated field. Latex gloves. Like stealing
Cam Newton is a first ballot Prop betting Pro Bowler. No other QB has been this profitable in 2020.
As a pats fan I can’t wait to cut him. As a bettor he is the greatest.
World Juniors are normally a good money maker. Am roughly even so far this year, although I have an nice wager on Canada winning their pool at -300 and making it to the gold game.
Non-bubble hockey --> For NHL? I'm still waiting to see the schedule to be printed in ink. The bubble playoffs were great tons of upsets early on was a great $$$ maker. The training camps are going to be rushed I can't see how anyone is going to be in good shape if they really start Jan 13th. Going to be sloppy hockey will need to get a feel for whether that means tons of overs on scoring heavy teams (Leafs, Lightning,Hawks).
Feels extra good to bet like a ploppy and win.
Shut down here for a month due to covid. I can't see us bringing back kids hockey in early February with Covid raging on. Maybe by March but by then they start thinking about summer sports.
First thought through my head was to grab some supplies for a backyard rink.....then I remembered we might get a max of 8 good days where the ice is perfect. Climate change what?
They have some nice outdoor rinks, but they are closed due to covid. Likely not due to covid, just to avoid confrontations for underpaid workers having to deal with anti-vax/anti-maskers.
I'll find a creek/pond/something instead if we hit a good week of cold weather.
I remember listening to Gil Santos & Gino Cappelletti call the Patriots & Tom Brady on the radio while I raked the leaves and watched my toddler kids play.
Now those kids are raking leaves in their own back yard. The Pats run has only now ended.
How can anything like that possibly happen again?
Pats haven’t even started rebuilding but I’m good.
Any guesses who their Week 1 starter is next year?
Wentz?
Jameis?
Mariota?
On a college team draft talk is waaaaaay more interesting to kids than bowls. That is what they are gossiping about this morning.
tailing OSU ML
I have to admit - I have no idea WTF to take today with these
College games. I hate Em All. Sucks to say because a wasted bowl slate is a shame.
Last minute:
New York vs. Cleveland - Over 216
Bad first quarter for me, as Cleveland couldn't score. I knew I should've gone with the Knicks spread instead. Cleveland's 3-0 is so hollow.
Okay, here's a second over:
Orlando vs. OKC - Over 218
Oh well. 1-1, and pretty obvious in both games which way each would go.
If you can get a 2h alt line in this Texas line I think this may go to the moon.
