Except these statements are not entirely true. Trust me I've looked for studies both psychological and political proving that right wingers are more dogmatic and less critical thinkers. But really from everything I see such factors do not seem to be associated with political view. If you have that information please do provide but I sure as hell havn't been able to find anything remotely like that. Evidence just keeps suggesting there are just as many cultish voters on the left as well.
*points at the white house and the wholesale acceptance of everything thats happened in the last year by the fly-over right*
also i have no idea what you consider to be cultish at this point.
find me a mainstream left winger who doesnt believe in science and then resubmit your thesis.
Googlers,
I’m Danielle, Google’s brand new VP of Diversity, Integrity & Governance. I started just a couple of weeks ago, and I had hoped to take another week or so to get the lay of the land before introducing myself to you all. But given the heated debate we’ve seen over the past few days, I feel compelled to say a few words.
Many of you have read an internal document shared by someone in our engineering organization, expressing views on the natural abilities and characteristics of different genders, as well as whether one can speak freely of these things at Google. And like many of you, I found that it advanced incorrect assumptions about gender. I’m not going to link to it here as it’s not a viewpoint that I or this company endorses, promotes or encourages.
Diversity and inclusion are a fundamental part of our values and the culture we continue to cultivate. We are unequivocal in our belief that diversity and inclusion are critical to our success as a company, and we’ll continue to stand for that and be committed to it for the long haul. As Ari Balogh said in his internal G+ post, “Building an open, inclusive environment is core to who we are, and the right thing to do. ‘Nuff said.”
Google has taken a strong stand on this issue, by releasing its demographic data and creating a company wide OKR on diversity and inclusion. Strong stands elicit strong reactions. Changing a culture is hard, and it’s often uncomfortable. But I firmly believe Google is doing the right thing, and that’s why I took this job.
Part of building an open, inclusive environment means fostering a culture in which those with alternative views, including different political views, feel safe sharing their opinions. But that discourse needs to work alongside the principles of equal employment found in our Code of Conduct, policies, and anti-discrimination laws.
I’ve been in the industry for a long time, and I can tell you that I’ve never worked at a company that has so many platforms for employees to express themselves — TGIF, Memegen, internal G+, thousands of discussion groups. I know this conversation doesn’t end with my email today. I look forward to continuing to hear your thoughts as I settle in and meet with Googlers across the company.
Thanks,
Danielle
-Exhibit A. As I am assuming she is not a rogue operative, this indicates the entire management of Google does not endorse scientific views that do not support their narrative.
I actually believe that the typical left and right wing extremist is equally cultish in their beliefs systems. For the most part you pick your tribe and then you follow its core tenants without question. This is how basic human nature works. One argument that you could reasonably make is that leftist extremists are more moral and their value systems are better. I think you can reasonably argue that leftist extremists really are trying to improve the lot of humanity and make the world a better place. I think it would be much harder to make this argument for right wing extremists today.
That being said I think the cynical "right wing" view of humanity to be the more accurate one. IMO the more optimistic radical left wing viewpoints rely on very incorrect assumptions about humanity, and as such will always be perverted in practice and inevitably result in things getting worse.
Saw anna khait last night, told her to check out my work shredding l-tardz
WOMAN IS ABSOLUTE GOD
Hey sidecuck why are you ducking a 20 dollar dfs game
Just so it's globally confirmed in this website sidecuck ducked out of a 4 man NFL last game of year that he claimed was free money and had 2 days to join basically just lol
He also cries that we conspire to steal his money at NBA because he's too dumb

Anyways like I said this is not my opinion its what the research shows. I used to believe the same as you until I took the time to try and validate my views.

And yes until I quoted my article I didn;t even think of Steven Pinker. The Blank Slate is a great example of how leftists ignore science from a evolutionary perspective.
We are in perfect agreement on this. It's literally this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFAcZt1ZUVc
but weaponized as a political platform.
And, apologies if I havent expressed this properly, regardless of physics behind the 'why', an absolutely huge percent of the right wing has essentially decided to set aside the traditional building blocks for subjective opinions and have embraced a top-down indoctrination from someone who makes the teachings of David Koresh look grounded.
I'm very comfortable saying that by every available definition, the right wing is a cult. And I base that on the extent to which they have embraced the ravings of madman as gospel (literally) and more importantly, by the sheer volume of right wing voters who subscribe to that perspective. Nothing fringe about it.
guess who was responsible for trump deep sixing the deal?
according to lindsay graham, stephen miller.
stephen miller is literally dictating trump's immigration stance and, maybe because stephen miller has no idea how a government works, is essentially veto'ing everything coming across the table that doesnt give him exactly what he wants.

IN BEFORE PASSIONATE TRIP REPORT ON HOW MUCH HE TIPPED THE GUY WHO DELIVERED TODAYS PLASTIC BOTTLE OF RUM AND FROZEN PINEAPPLE JUICE
we've been carpet bombing russia with sanctions while checking their ability to reclaim their breakaway republics for ages.
and although im not opposed to anything i just described, at least superficially, its not difficult to see why russia would absolutely savor the chance to put a stick in the eye of the country who has been fairly enthusiastic about keeping the boot on their neck for decades.
Oh, of course, I don't blame Russia for any of this. Don't think anybody would expect anything less.
Its the fact that they're achieving their goals without any meaningful consequences.
Putin is legit fucking with our democracies and it's only going to get worse, and your government turning the other cheek to a clear all-out assault against Western values is quite frankly scaring me.
They should probably ask you to forfeit kid
So two days multiple invites and side fish punks out for 5 pieces of salmon money and his excuse is what?
