I see the positives of BTC but there's three big problems I see with it.
1. It takes fucking ages for a transaction to clear, and the time for this is, in layman's terms, arbitrary (main problem)
2. You still can't use it in normal shops, for example to buy a coffee.
3. Most people still haven't a clue what it is
If this is it's value when it still doesn't work, what value will it reach when they actually enable it to scale??

Are there services that confirm for a fee? Because it seems that the slowing of transaction confirmations is a naturally failing market when there is little incentive for miners to confirm transactions for free (or close to it) when the alternative use of hash power is too mine for high-priced bitcoin. Or am I not understanding something about how confirmations work.Quote:

a decent wallet allows you to send coins at a few different priority levels, from expedited to normal to economy. The high priority should get you a few confirms in like 10 minutes. The lowest can take hours. Obv the fee varies at each level.Quote:
