The education questions at these debates are so stupid because the schools are largely controls by the states and local districts.
Yes there's a Department of Education, and it does have some influence, but any real reform in education is going to come from the state level.
This isn't a criticism of the Democratic debates, btw. The Republicans had this same shit in 2016.
Also Yang is pretty much a one-note candidate with the $1000 BS.
I laugh at the people who take him seriously. I don't even think he takes himself seriously.
Klobuchar should be doing better than she is. Not that I agree with her on much, but at least she tends to answer the questions and sound logical. Maybe she just isn't likable enough. Or maybe people have heard about her being an abusive boss and have tuned her out.
