Right now I am at:

30% - Some crazy shit happened, he snapped and missing details will all make sense when everything gets finished being investigated.

50% - He snapped, but key details are intentionally being left out. The most likely being he was either a gun/drug runner or a FBI/CIA agent.

20% - One or more of the other conspiracies are true, with the front runner being someone else was involved.
