Fedor on UFC? Say it ain't so
as funny as Fedor on fightpass is, it pales in comparison to....
no mention about permission from the WWE, which is like talking about Floyd-Conor without mentioning permission from the UFC.
Well fuck, combine our two posts and have Brock fight Fedor.
Quote:
UFC president Dana White said in 2012 that they were close to booking Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko at Cowboys Stadium, but that deal ultimately fell through after Emelianenko's father passed away, according to White. And the UFC tried to re-sign Lesnar last year as his WWE contract was expiring, but Lesnar chose to return to WWE instead.
great site: http://mma-math.com/proof.html enter 2 fighters, and the site will show, via MMA Math, why fighter A will win.
For instance, since Bruce Leeroy is fighting now, and we're talking about Fedor a bit, here's why Alex beats Fedor.
Alex Caceres > Cole Escovedo
Cole Escovedo > Bart Palaszewski
Bart Palaszewski > Tyson Griffin
Tyson Griffin > Manvel Gamburyan
Manvel Gamburyan > Jorge Santiago
Jorge Santiago > Kazuo Misaki
Kazuo Misaki > Dan Henderson
Dan Henderson > Fedor Emelianenko
Yeah according to this article, he signed a 3 year deal in 2015. But maybe he has some sort of buyout clause....as well as Vince probably doesn't necessarily mind him fighting again in the UFC as he's basically a walking advert for wrestling in general and can always come back to WWE when this run is done.
Brock vs Fedor would be awesome. Also wouldn't mind seeing Brock vs Hunt.
i expect literally dozens of people to buy this ppv.
The Poirier/Green under really goes to show why watching the press conference face off/weigh ins can be important in MMA betting.
Poirier looks like a beast at lightweight
feel bad for Clay Guida
fought a great fight, and with 30 sec left, ate a huge knee. LaLa land.
he seemed like a cool guy. Saw him out at bars up here in the Chicago NW burbs years back. little guy. 5'6 maybe but was the life of the bar.
btw you should all start stacking up on KO finishes; the new weight cutting guidelines effectively hamstrings wrestlers.
Trying to picture what a Lombard loss would look like. Can't bet -300 but I feel good about it
pretty sure that was a knee to the head when Dan was down and trying to get up
Took Hendo +280 and have him in +420 parlay with Cruz+Rockhold #whynot
thought it was money on fire after the first
omg hendo headkick
Lombard ready to take Ali's place on the permanent brain damage list
And that's why you shouldn't ever bet a UFC fight at more than -200
Diaz vs. McGregor 2 on Aug. 20. Announced in the arena.
That henderson guy threw at least one VERY unnecessary fucking elbow... no class. Ali was the GOAT because he never threw that extra shot
SO, BROCK CONFIRMED.
Brock vs JDS would be my nearest guess
Fedor fights Maldonado June 17 so that fight is probably not happening now but maybe for MSG methinks
well I'd figure after he's on fightpass that the UFC woukd make a move towards signing him in the next 6 mths, and to fight Brock on a big supercard.
This was always my personal theory that they would eventually have Brock vs Fedor, although its never been reported but I would figure both fighters would also want to do it because they'd have leverage in wages in relation to how many PPV buys that would get.
If Fedor ever wanted to fight in the UFC (despite his relationship with Dana), he'd want a big fight. Brock is a big fight.
Brock Lesnar vs Jon Jones when Cormier pulls out due to "injury".
I got Rockhold in round 1 +105, under 1.5 -110 and even sprinkled The Rock by Sub at +190
Holy shit
Lots of green rep to anyone who live blogs this last fight for the guy who was forced into going to a work wedding with his wife tonight and missed 90% of the card.
:yes
That's what MMA Junkie said more or less. Rockhold had zero respect for Bisping and it cost him.
I bet the books made a fucking killing tonight. Rock hold was -400's earlier this week. He closed at -680 at my main shop. Takes some real cake to push a line that high
Serra was +700 at one point but I don't know where the odds landed before the fight began.
in my entire life, i have never been so close to making a bet and passing, as i was tonight on bisping by ko/tko.
About 11:40 into the press conference Rockhold goes off and then Bisping comes into the press as he is talking so they get into it. Rockhold is good fighter but always been an arrogant douche

Before the main event Ariel Helwani and some other media were escorted out of of the building. They were also told they are banned for life. He didn't say for certain that I could tell as to why but the UFC really wanted to be the first to announce the Brock info on the PPV.
Tell you what I am about done with Dana White and his UFC. He has turned into a dictator and this is ridiculous.
You can't ban reporters for REPORTING the UFC news. Who the hell does he think he is? God apparently.
Between how much they rip the fighters off, the McGregor Diaz fiasco, and now this, it is clear he will try to maintain control over everyone by any means necessary.
Just give the mw belt back to Weidman now and let Bisping retire at the top of his career. I didn't think he'd ever get it back from Rockhold but Bisping should be a cake walk for him.
Dana is such a little chickenshit. But he is an executive for a company in America....most of them are.
