It's like yea he has the keys to everyone's control files yet you don't think he will access them?

There is no need to have goons dig up the dirt when all you need to do is send a text...
We have absolutely no idea. Hours before the vote, Senators were given a 479 page unsearchable PDF containing multiple pages with handwritten changes in the margins that cannot be read.

I actually don't care what's in the bill, or any bill these assholes pass. We'll just fix it after they're all in jail.
WHAT'S UP BALLERS??
:TRAIN
the general mood in the white house right now is being described as 'hitlers bunker'.
Pretty unbelievable that people are supposed to vote on something they absolutely cannot read in time.
There needs to be a law against that.
This also happened with Obamacare, btw.
We meaning Americans I would assume.
Populism! Trump voters are marks.
And bitcoin is donkdown

But his statement about sitting president being immune from criminal indictment is wrong.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/22/u...tarr-memo.html
Quote:
The 56-page memo, locked in the National Archives for nearly two decades and obtained by The New York Times under the Freedom of Information Act, amounts to the most thorough government-commissioned analysis rejecting a generally held view that presidents are immune from prosecution while in office.
“It is proper, constitutional, and legal for a federal grand jury to indict a sitting president for serious criminal acts that are not part of, and are contrary to, the president’s official duties,” the Starr office memo concludes. “In this country, no one, even President Clinton, is above the law.”
Mr. Starr assigned Ronald Rotunda, a prominent conservative professor of constitutional law and ethics whom Mr. Starr hired as a consultant on his legal team, to write the memo in spring 1998 after deputies advised him that they had gathered enough evidence to ask a grand jury to indict Mr. Clinton, the memo shows.
...
In 1974, the Watergate special counsel, Leon Jaworski, had also received a memo from his staff saying he could indict the president, in that instance Richard M. Nixon, while he was in office, and later made that case in a court brief. Those documents, however, explore the topic significantly less extensively than the Starr office memo.
In the end, both Mr. Jaworski and Mr. Starr let congressional impeachment proceedings play out and did not try to indict the presidents while they remained in office. Mr. Starr, who had decided he could indict Mr. Clinton, said in a recent interview that he had concluded the more prudent and appropriate course was simply referring the matter to Congress for potential impeachment.
Nigga you can't even spell obstruction of justice

He couldn't be more of an idiot.
From an EV perspective as far as all our lives going well the next 3 years I sincerely hope no-one in Trumps family is tried for anything that would have the risk for jail time, even if they "deserve it". I don't trust his ability to lead the country right now, but if something like that happened I think things could get tremendously worse for everyone.
Unless you are like Sonatine and really do sincerely want Western civilization to fail, remember at some point we have to make peace and move on. Things can't stay divisive like this forever or we all lose, and we leave our children a much worse world than the one our parents left for us.
Whatever you think about "deplorables" or "radical leftists" there is a lot of both groups and that isn't changing anytime soon. So just fighting nonstop over everything and refusing to reconcile is a lose-lose situation. Even if you think you have the morally superior position it doesn't matter if the world comes crashing down in the path of righteousness. Unless you really think there is 57 virgins waiting for you on the other side.
I understand your logic but this is pretty much what every dictator uses to scare their populace into not rebelling...
What you are suggesting here is that everyone should go along with what the great dictator says because god forbid what will happen if he loses his cool...
also Trumps whole campaign has been about divisiveness....
also shout out to people who refer to western civilization being in peril from progressives then embrace a regressive, right wing christian theocracy despite the literal entirety of actual western civilization minus the United States aggressively embracing civil rights, universal health care, and the well being of the planet.
Why isn't The Mayor of the Wal Mart Parking Lot here to gloat about his boy's tax bill passing?
You can already see the defensive narrative forming. The evidence of collusion will be overwhelming, and Trump and team will constantly claim none of what they did was illegal, even though they lied about doing it all this time.
If he was elected for life and really was a dictator I get your point. But the way things are going he is probably gone in 3 years and 8 years max. Given that I don’t think risking the world going full jihad after Trump is worth it. But I fear No one in either side Is thinking clearly enough to see the long game. They are literally a wild pack of dogs who smell blood and in bloodlust.
I disagree with the socialist, globalist agenda of sonatine and other leftists on this board, but they are spot on about Trump being a literal retard.
i literally open a criminal investigation, have twitter provide me the forensic data on the phone of origin, then have the lawyer explain how he had access to the phone when the tweet was made when, inevitably, i can use forensic evidence from the lawyers own cell phone or any number of eye witnesses to prove he's lying.
then i politely instruct titus to get the cross.
i think the story will be that the lawyer prepared the text of the tweet, but didn't actually send it, which would make sense if true.
that being said, it's hard to believe that a fucking lawyer (except maybe tellafriend) would prepare a statement for trump admitting he knew flynn lied to the FBI when he fired him.
