I am on record for smuggling box wine into theaters. Almost got bagged during the police action in the lobby during the Joker premier
I’m not smart enough to walk from the Open Market crap bond purchases thru weaker dollar. Nevertheless, if dollar falls market will rise. Something to watch.
The DOW .382 Fib retracement is 22,550. I believe in the tea leaves.
Do what you want
I’m primarily a long term investor in part because I don’t have time to pay attention intraday as much I feel I need to do well. I was probably peak anxiety about the markets Friday and figured that mean time to buy. Bought a few ETFs and Delta and Disney. Plan was to hold long term but knowing I’d probably get a chance to buy more even lower in the coming months. Just sold most of Delta for over 50% profit in 3 days. Even though I was thinking long term hard to pass up those gains despite the tax hit. I think this is fools gold and will be able to get back in again lower.
But just to show how much of a donk I am and that this was luck; I also just sold LVS I held for 8 years at a loss even though Sanlmar has been shouting from the roof tops for months gaming was screwed. Feel lucky to get out here actually.
There is no way the world doesn’t soil themselves when they see unemployment #’s tomorrow.

1 person got let go last week.
2 people got let go today. One was in the same role as I, but because I crushed it, it kinda put a spotlight on how shitty he was and they chose to ax him.
Companies are going to be trimming the fat and these unemployment #'s will only be compounded next month

LOL, yes indeed I'm keeping up with you Simp. I've run pure San:
Wish these showed the time of purchase but you can take my word it was around 3:30 and then another 100 around 3:45.

Stimulus passed, although we already all knew it would.
Let's see how that plays vs unemployment #s.
So out of 330 million, about 70 million may get a $1,200 check.
As for small business, they will file a claim asking for $400K of projected losses and may get $100K if they are lucky.
As for large business, they get bailed out, whatever they need.
$2 Trillion could have been around $6,000 to everybody but the politicians really don’t give a fuck.

What I want to know is what happens when all of this gets paid back.
The $$ going to People is a loan against next years tax return. The $$ going to business, if they take it with the rules in place, will be paid back.
Will the govt take the money and pay down debit with it?
I don’t think this is correct is it? My understanding is that the payout eligibility is determined using most recent tax return filed (2018 or 19) but actual eligibility will be based on 2020 income so at next years filing deadline it will be reconciled and you may have to pay back money, no change, or possibly receive more. And if that’s the case it’s hard to imagine a high percentage of people making more money this year than either of the last two.
Also if I’m not mistaken the $500 per child payout is irrespective of income with no phaseout.
