yeah, if there wasn't sex, then he's not a child molester if that's your question. also not clear why you think the child, herself, would be considered the one "condoning" molestation, so...

of course, jesus most likely did not even exist from a historical perspective but let's keep this thread on track
DRUMSTICK & WISHBONE PARDONED, 2 ABSOLUTE GODS
much better names than those faggots tator & tot. Suck shit libtards
Last time I checked the whole Mary, Joseph and Jesus thing was big for all Christians. Not fair or consistent to single out Evangelicals. To be consistent you pretty much have to say anyone who is Christian, Jewish or Muslim who doesn't denounce the numerous instances of child molestation perpetuated by God and central religious figures such as Joseph and Muhammad are pieces of shit.
You act as though this is some kind of checkmate logic, and that child molestation must be okay if billions of people condone it. That's quite a perverted moral compass you've got there.
But I don't think billions is even close to the right figure. The age of Mary at time of conception is widely disputed, and certainly isn't written in the Bible. Even if it explicitly stated that she was 12, there's tons of obscure shit in the Bible that Christians choose not to believe or simply have never read. Muslims too.
Strict adherents of any religion are in the minority, and in most cases they are indeed horrible people.
i don't get the point you're trying to make.
you think any christian who is against pedophilia is a hypocrite, because mary, through a virgin birth, had jesus? what kind of logic is that?
do you also think any jew or christian who is against slavery is also a hypocrite, since slavery wasn't outlawed in the old testament?
this is how you're defending roy moore?
Stop cheating libtards u scamming pieces of shit.
I am not defending Roy Moore. This isn't about Roy Moore. This is about how human beings are for the most part tribal. You pick a tribe and everything your tribe does isn't so bad, and everything the other tribe does is. Then we make up some insincere self-serving false reasoning that holds up to zero scrutiny to rationalize our positions and demonize and dehumanize the "other".
Go to the zoo and look at apes form tribes and throw poop at each other. We think our political discourse is more than this because our brains are a little bigger, but it really isn't. It is the same thing.
Roy Moore met his wife when she was 16 and he attended her dance recital featuring only middle school and high school girls.
And Donald Trump has endorsed him to be a Senator. Trump did love walking into the dressing room before the Miss Teen USA pageant, according to several 15 year olds involved.
Here's what he told Howard Stern about the Miss USA pageant-
"Well, I'll tell you the funniest is that I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone's getting dressed and ready and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere. And I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant and therefore I'm inspecting it. You know, I'm inspecting, I want to make sure that everything is good.
You know, the dresses. ‘Is everyone okay?’ You know, they're standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody okay?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and so, I sort of get away with things like that. But no, I've been very good."
i don't think trump should have come out and endorsed moore, but i can't blame him or any republicans for hoping moore gets elected.
the senate is virtually a 50/50 split. one vote might mean the difference in trump being able to actually pass any of his agenda and not.
to put it another way, how many democrats would have chosen to vote for bob dole over bill clinton if they knew then what they know now.
if we're being honest, the answer is zero. the vote would have been unchanged.
would any liberal democrat have thought, "i want liberal supreme court justices, greater environmental protections and expanded social programs/health care, but have to vote for bob dole (who i think will literally ruin the country for generations) cause bill's a sex offender"?
Can somebody just give the lunatic his 2scoops so we can put this issue to bed?
Suicide King: Idiot
FRAUD. SK is in his 30s and rocks the wannabe gangsta persona. He's not even a real person, just an avatar of what he thinks society thinks is cool/acceptable. A low IQ easily manipulated drone.
Inspired by their dear leader, Trump supporters have taken to Twitter to express their outrage at LeVar Burton, the guy from Star Trek and Reading Rainbow. #TheyAllLookTheSame

MumblesBadly: "Jesus probably didn't exist" is a myth. The contemporary Jewish historian Josephus mentions him by name being a messianic figure with a following and getting crucified.
at the risk of completely derailing this thread, i highly doubt you read what josephus actually said. most scholars acknowledge that the one paragraph he wrote relating to jesus the messiah was added by the church well after the fact.
if you look at that paragraph and compare it to his entire book (or even the rest of that page), this borders on inarguable. it's obviously written by an entirely different person.
Blaaaaaaaaake, why are you chasing vermitard all the way to his special ed class?
BlunderMaker: But intellectually superior enough to understand the limitations to one's own knowledge?
Blake: And you have advanced training in Ancient Greek and authorship to qualify this statement as meaning that the Josephus references to Jesus and related figures is merely fiction perpetrated by history-altering believers back in the day? Because the Wikipedia article on the matter, with numerous scholarly references, says otherwise.
Personally, I was once intrigued by the notion of the Jesus Myth, as I am an atheist. But after seeing how such claims tend to be based on projections of small issues, seemingly corroborated by mythology of predecessor religions (cue Zeitgeist The Movie), I decided that the Jesus Myth was a fanciful projection of militant atheists who are grasping at any reason, however tenuous, to denigrate religious belief. IMO, there's enough reason to do that separate from a wishful extrapolation of a speculative thesis. In other words, it's militant atheism's version of the Oxfordian theory, something I also at one time found convincing.Quote:
The extant manuscripts of the writings of the first-century Romano-Jewish historian Flavius Josephus include references to Jesus and the origins of Christianity.[1][2] Josephus' Antiquities of the Jews, written around 93–94 AD, includes two references to the biblical Jesus Christ in Books 18 and 20 and a reference to John the Baptist in Book 18.[1][3] Scholarly opinion varies on the total or partial authenticity of the reference in Book 18, Chapter 3, 3 of the Antiquities, a passage that states that Jesus the Messiah was a wise teacher who was crucified by Pilate, usually called the Testimonium Flavianum.[4][5][1] The general scholarly view is that while the Testimonium Flavianum is most likely not authentic in its entirety, it is broadly agreed upon that it originally consisted of an authentic nucleus, which was then subject to Christian interpolation and/or alteration.[5][6][7][8][9][10] Although the exact nature and extent of the Christian redaction remains unclear,[11] broad consensus exists as to what the original text of the Testimonium by Josephus would have looked like.[9]
an indian republican destroying the internet is the most 2017 america thing ive ever heard.

Once this tax bill fails considering the latest stances of the Trump administration backing someone who is perceived by the GOP establishment to be a pedophile, and the flagrant abundant racism, constant undermining, and outright insanity via Tweets, plus the obvious collusion that continues to come to light, I don't think it's a far fetched notion anymore that the GOP turns on him in the semi near future and moves to impeach.
That is if Mueller doesn't blow the whole thing wide open before then.
