I think Dave Roberts broke Stripling when he lifted him from that no-hitter.
Actually, Striplling was just never that good. Was never a fan of his. When they traded away him and Pederson to the Angels, I was sad to see Joc go, but Stripling I couldn't give a shit. Then the trade fell through, and both were back. I still feel the same way today. Joc has his usefulness, with his raw power against right handed pitching, plus his ability to take walks. He can't hit left handers, but whatever.
Stripling will always be a mediocre starter.
Anyway, I looked like a genius today, with both Kershaw and Clarke getting hammered early. Then both offenses died, and it's been locked 4-4 for eternity. At least I can't lose, but a tie looks likely.
The idiocy with the man on 2nd in extras at least gives me a better chance to see 2 runs pushed across.

Orioles is an interesting one. Cole has given up a lot of HR lately, and there's some belief that he might not be quite right at the moment.
