I posted this Robintracker deal in the quality stock forum yesterday
This is a real thing. Can’t dismiss RH autists as market movers for shit stocks. There is size there that simply must be respected.
The CFTC or someone else with handcuffs is gonna perk up cause this pump strat is gonna grow. Look, I hate kids and I’m down.
I woke up every morning wanting to go opposite. That hasn’t played for quite some time.
Everyone short today? Well, that must be correct. This is 1998.
It really feels like the market is about to correct big time.
I deposited some extra $$ in TD Ameritrade today, thinking of doing a longer term shorts. Was thinking of July 27th SPY 315 put, or something around there. I think it takes a day or 2 for money to clear for options, so knowing my luck the market will have a big drop while I am waiting for the $$ to clear.

I wonder how much of it is people who are just bored, who aren't spending recreational money like they are accustomed to (bars, casinos, sports) and are doing stocks instead, and as soon as they can get back to their normal lives they will lose interest in the market. i mentioned that site like a month ago so theres that.
i think youre dazzled by all this because maybe you havent been spending a lot of time on WSB but really, pull back on the camera lens just far enough to include the status of the credit market and the unemployment figures and you see how this ends, big or no.
also im guessing this time next year we are having or have had open congressional hearings on HFT dark pools, skimming/front running, and the role 'commissionless' brokerages have in that cycle.
because when all these pink fat americans get margin called, anonymous is going to start dox'ing these dark pools and its going to turn into a thing really, really fast.

I look at WSB occasionally. Funny but very low signal to noise from members whose earliest childhood memories are of parents watching Obama’s inauguration.

heard 100% but imagine if online poker sites were like yeah we dont charge rake but we let our own players sit at your table and once every hundred hands against you we let them see your hole cards.

too many smart, articulate people have called the dark pool behavior 'criminal' for it to be some sort of coincidence. the right lawyer with the right paperwork at the right time could be our erin brockovich.

IMO Trudeau (Liberal) and Ford (Conservative, Ontario Premier) have both been good leaders through the pandemic. Although I guess it's easy in comparison when you look South.
