Poker is a much better place to be if you have a shit ton of money & nothing to do with it. There is a community there. High stakes Baccarat is done in a room with a few people in it. There is a baccarat community from what I hear, but they don’t seem to match up with Mikki’s archetype.
He seems to be all in on this poker thing. He doesn’t know it, but he was THE spot in a game with 7 other spots. He seems like a guy searching for an identity. If he still has all this money to burn he really should use it to take some time off from gambling every night.
It could be that he doesn’t have his own money and that is why he is constantly looking for staking and what not. In that case, he’s fucked. That never ends well. This could all be one big time grift he’s pulling to stay in action & be Instagram famous. I hope not…hope he’s got some put away to sort some stuff out. But there is too much unknown for me to say “bad guy”. Guess we shall see.

I watched a chunk of the stream last night. I have to legitimately give Mikki credit for not monkey tiliting and grinding up from being way down to back even and even above his starting stack (he said hed gotten it down to $40k at one point which was true). Meanwhile JRB was on one monster heater the two nights at Hustler for sure. As for Persson after watching him take stacks from folks on HSP I was shocked to see him light 1/2 Mil on fire. Usually hes great at table talk and stealing pots and convincing people to call with marginal hands.
I give Mikki more credit for just showing up and bringing a couple buyins, but i disagree I think he was monkey tilting. He did a bit of grinding at the end, but really even then he was playing too loose, too tight, wanting to keep chips, announcing hes 'locking it up', talking about needing the money etc. I think his one chance at being up big was if he really calls Allen when he was bluffing with the best hand. The hand that caused him to monkey tilt and lose his stack was somewhere around the 10 or 11 hour mark.
I had just started watching the steam when it happened, I was tired so I may have small details off but it went something like this... Mikki has pocket 10’s. Board is something like 358 rainbow. Mikki bets 30k, other dude pushes all in for something like 280k. Mikki called, and dude shows pocket Queens. I’ve never really seen Mikki mad, but he was upset. He played that hand horrible.
I actually think Mikki brings viewers to the stream, therefore he has leverage. If I had to guess he used this “leverage” in negotiating what game I he played. I have to give him credit if this is what he did. I think he may have only agreed to play if there was no Garrett or Andy and the rest were Donkeys.
When he started doing the PLO “flips” for 50k, I was actually thinking that is the best thing for him. At least he was playing a 50/50 bet, when playing Hold em, he is obviously —EV.
Something that was so clear, even the commentator mentioned it, When Mikki had $100k after the PLO flip he said no way Mikki leaves with $100k, there is two outcomes either Busto or he runs it up to 3 or 4 hundred grand.
He did the same thing as last time when he was down to his last hand and had to take some chips with him for “gas money”.
Honestly, for a minute I actually felt sorry for him. We know he is a lair, but as far as we know there has been no proof that I am aware of that he is scamming people. I still don’t like the guy, but did briefly feel for him.
I also feel for him now that I have watched him on stream multiple times and heard his interview. Then I try to remind myself his friend was running around claiming he ripped him off. Yeah, there was some lost footage, I believe a littler over an hours worth. On the live broadcast at about the 13th hour people in the chat were telling them that they need to start a new live broadcast because when it gets posted after the live stream, it will only show a maximum of 12 hours. I don't think this is a Christopher Mitchell style coaching scam. It doesn't seem Mikki's funding is coming from any marks. It looks like he legit has access to millions of dollars from an unknown source, perhaps a trust fund. However, by posturing as a guy who beats the casinos (which he clearly doesn't), he brings in others who follow his advice, and obviously will end up going broke -- even if Mikki himself doesn't benefit from it.
I would be much less critical of Mikki if he didn't bring others into the whole thing. If he simply played pretend as a guy crushing the casinos for millions, it would be far less offensive, as nobody would be getting hurt except for his own bankroll.
Right now it really looks like a trust fund situation to me. Perhaps Mikki gets X amount of dollars every 3 months, or whatever, and he uses that money to go gamble at high stakes, and then does it all over again when he gets his next disbursement. It's got to be something along those lines. I'm guessing the money we see is actually his, and he's not stealing/scamming. However, I'm also pretty certain that he's a consistent losing gambler.
Remember, he still hasn't shown me those casino statements, as he promised on radio. My messages to him about it have been ignored, so I gave up.

I think this is interesting... (Mostly about Spencer)
I am not sure if this is related in any way, but right after Spencer did the first 2 Mikki videos, the amount of views and subscribers plummeted, even though the actual number of views on the 2 videos was high. I will get into the actual numbers in the next paragraph. The first video was where Spencer basically made his case for Mikki being full of shit. The next video a short time later (days) he had met up with Mikki, and Spencer basically reviewed at all of Mikki’s “evidence” and at that point he seemed to take the stance that Mikki was creditable. Later that day, Spencer posted a comment on that video (which he later “pinned” for all to see) which said something to the effect that he possible was duped and “things may not be what they seemed”. A short time later he deleted the comment with no explanation. Then several months later he did another video where he “staked” Mikki for a World Series of Poker event, likely a video for Spencer to get content and for Mikki to get exposure. In my opinion this is a terrible look for Spencer.

Both his views and subscribers since the beginning of his channel have been rapidly growing, until December.
I’m November of 2021 Spencer had 7.1 MILLION VIEWS for his channel. The following month (Dec 2021) was when he released the Mikki videos he had only 4.8 MILLION VIEWS. Then the next 8 months haven’t been good for Spencer at all. In August he had ONLY 1.2 MILLION VIEWS! His worst month was May at 554k VIEWS.
He currently has 442k Subscribers. In November of 2021, he had an increase in Subscribers of 40,000. About 10% of his total sub count, which was excellent. Then in December it started to drop (as did the views). For August 2022 he had an increase of ONLY 4,000 Subscribers, this is only 1%. This is terrible growth.
So what’s going on? This can’t possibly be all due to the Mikki situation. I get that channels will reach a plateau as far as subscribers, but why has the number of views took a shit?
The only thing that I can think of is Youtube has stopped pushing/recommending gambling related content. I don’t like that Spencer gives Mikki a platform, but in general I do like Spencer and I hope he figures it out.
He previously would post monthly videos of how much he made from YouTube as well as his other income. Not anymore.
